Yea not thrilled with the prospect of him being the 2nd gun to Melo. Same with Alridge
they should be top dog if they come here..

Kevin Love specialises in putting up monster stats that seem to have little baring on the game. I don't know why, but it makes me very wary of him. Does anyone who watches the Twolves know why? I fear he will be a Knick in 2015...
After the poop fest of Tuesday, last night was great for basketball games- great start to the season! loved it!
we used to say the same about Dlee and his double-dub's........but we needed a STAR and we got Stat instead!
Dolan sells seats. Dolan don't buy championships!
If your a ticket holder, he owns your azz.

And the Warriors took it to another level when DLee was out...

Well reports are GS is trying to get rid of DLee but that contract is hurting them. Like Love he gets pts and rebounds but his defense is usually beyond bad.

yea, but I think his injury history bothers me most.. the wolves didn't have that good of a team, plus they are young and sustained injuries.. He is not going to carry a team by himself, but on a good TEAM, you will see him impact games more.. for us, he solves a need... rebounding and points in the paint, since he does get a lot of put backs... I would not fear him being a knick if we actually put some thought in putting this team together.. I do fear paying him a max....

thougth those died down after the draft and Dlee told he is staying.
Besides, is his defense better or worse than stat? Bargnani?
The guy next to Tyson would have been pretty good, and money left over for a good player.
game of the night:
clips warriors, halloween special
a scary (
) number of threes will drop tonight
GS is so stacked this year
The hops on Deandre Jordan are insnae

Yeah I think despite what Shaw and the Nuggets are trying to do with McGee, Jordan is the next dominant big. Rivers is really high on him. If I am the Clippers I move Blake. The guy has too many faults.
I want to see the Nets/Heat tonight..Try to get a gauge of where these teams are...Not sure who to root for...I might have to root for the Nets..I hate the Heat that much...I don't consider the Nets a threat...They have to prove that they are a better team..
Evan Turner sounds like he's about done in Philly. If we didn't have have such a glut in the backcourt, I'd make an inquiry.
Evan Turner and the Philadelphia 76ers allowed the deadline for an extension to pass without any discussions."There was nothing whatsoever," Turner said Friday morning. "Nothing was done. That's it.
"There was nothing to talk about. There was no discussion."
Turner does not seem to believe that he is in Sam Hinkie's plans.
"I didn't expect anything, because Hinkie is not my GM," Turner said. "I didn't come up with Hinkie or anything. He has his own plan for stuff, and that's pretty much it."
Turner could be traded before the February deadline and is unlikely to remain with the 76ers past the upcoming offseason.
Brett Brown believes Turner will remain a vocal leader and professional throughout the season.

2010 Draft is starting to look like
Rockets looking very scary right now.
It looks like Minny came to play. The Knicks better come correct Sunday.
Nyet quality win at home. Big statement for both teams. Nets looked brilliant at times. Miami IS brilliant with lapses at times.
JVG got to stop broadcasting his morality, he is beginning to pontificate like Bill Walton did!
Both Heat and Nets have a ways to go before we know the ceiling on each. Miami made a nice furious game of it in the last 1.30min with some nice 3's.
Pierce looked more fit than he was last time I saw him in Green. It was Derons first real minutes of the season and AK47 was out of synch and does not have his wheels yet. Miami looked good.
Glad Knicks and Nets play later in the season as the more fine tuned versions will play the game. First month is a throw away.

I agree about pierce,he looked like he spent the offseason lifting. The heat never could get into a flow against the nets. The nets are really big and Bropez put on muscle weight this offseason 15 lbs. I think last year the nets find a way to lose that game. One thing I wondered about was the traveling call on LBJ late in the fourth quarter. I watched the game on YES and never saw a replay of the play.

It was a travel, but they travel alot in the NBA so to me it was a bit tickey tacky. Do you do it to the reigning MVP? Im not sure. I thought nets let up a bit from fatigue and Miami got care free to hoist some three's that went in.
AK47 makes that dunk most nites and that might have deflated the Heat somewhat. He has not played much in preseason so he is very rusty. Same for Dwil, very rusty. Dwil looks like he is 20 lbs lighter this year.
Pierce's block on lebron was very clutch. Simmons says big thing with Pierce and Garnett is they are not scared of Lebron. I did not loath them as much in black as I did when they wore green.
Joe Johnaon looked very good at times as well. Him and pierce played well togther. Pierce is a hell of a passer!

They're very good. I don't think it's going to work in the long-term to have Asik and Howard on the floor together but they have plenty of time to make a trade.
