Agree. I have always been a big fan of Monty as both a player and a coach.
He was basically the coach, so I wonder who they replace him with.
Kidd press conference on right now on the Nets pregame.
Kidd said it was about basketball. No defensive or offensive coaches just coaches. Someone else said that once in NY and was around for about 2 months after that.
Bropez makes a huge difference for the Nets. Hard to believe the Knicks passed on Bropez and then a ton of great guards including Lawson the following year. The Knicks could have had the cornerstones to their franchise in those two drafts.
It's pretty clear that franki's defensive philosophies were not working with this set of players. Maybe Kidd actually has a better plan? They are looking better. Getting olds back how too

I think it is Bropez more then anything else. The change happened today. Maybe there were communication issues with the players but Frank was an assistant.

Moz didn't do anything in Denver for a long time. They resigned him to his current deal. Moz was never a sure thing and still isn't. Chandler looked really good tonight as well. Also, two guys the Knicks could have drafted in consecutive years that would have changed everything, Bropez and Lawson (or insert marquee point from that draft's name)looked really good.

No one expected Moz to be a 20/10 guy,
it's just that he's giving great value at the price, and he could've contributed good stuff for us,
still hurts to lose him for absolutely no reason,

He resigned with Denver once given the opportunity by Shaw to be the backup and get minutes.
Knicks don't develop players very often!
Denver is no contender and after a rough start is now 11-6 with life without Iggy and no Gallo. With a young coach, draft picks, and youth they have a base to make deals or develop a solid franchise.
They were unafraid to let go of the coach of the year and eat a year of his contract for the long term benefit of the franchise. A concept not acceptable in the Mecca. They are taking risks that might not pan out. We construct rosters based on arena renovations and fear of the Russian.
