Brooklyn whole different team with a healthy Williams.
Brian Shaw blames slow starts on fast food
Shaw has searched for answers to their offensive woes in the first quarters of games. Last week, he walked through the locker room, saw players eating pizza and nachos and believed the poor diet to be the cause. So he picked up all the junk food and threw it in the trash.

Hey Brian you ever heard of munchies.
The Nuggets had fresh salads with chicken breast and cold cut sandwiches before Monday’s game. The sluggish result was the same.

They did a good job of fooling me.
Sweet ending to GS's comeback win over Dallas. Dude took over in the 4th, even dropped a 4pt play in the last minute or so.
"Brooklyn whole different team with a healthy Williams." Yup. They look like an okay team with Williams, not quite Dallas or Houston but not awful.
Nets look like they're ready to go on the kind of run we should have gone on a few games ago

100% agree. Now all of a sudden, Kidd can coach. Ive always said the success or failure of the nets will depend on dwill
They look different with pierce!!! His ball movement is very good. They have waves of bigs they can throw out at teams. Plumlee is very athletic. They handled Clippers very well last nite. Kept them from making a run. Clips are a bit road weary having been out for a while now but its the kind of win good teams get at home.

Nets when healthy are loaded. We lose One player and we are 6-15. We have a pathetic roster

there is some truth to that, but in all fairness, the nets still are not a good team. I wonder how loaded they really are. maybe on paper, but on the court, outside of deron, plumlee and lopez sometimes, the other guys seem to be running with cement boots on.. LOL

No, they are not a good team, but a work in progress. The main difference is outside of the starphuchs you have some younger assets (taylor, Teletovic, Plumlee, Bogonovitch still overseas) were our only utes are Hardaway and Shump whom I expect to be traded.
Kidd is not a good coach, but he is only just removed from playing and not 20 games into season, and being underminded by Frank did not progress him. What I have seen in the two teams is knicks need to have outside game going to win while Nets can beat you inside and with DWil and Pierce back, they can spread the court a bit. JJ is way overpaid but he is a big 2 or 3 that can take it into the lane. While paid like Melo, he is not as good.
Last nite we saw Dwill's unit get the lead and Pierce lead to maintain it. These guys play and make others better.
The proof obviously is how they finish and its just my opinion they can join the party and contend against Indy and Miami if healthy. Obviously Indy is clicking on all cylinders.

oh I agree, going forward I would much rather have youth like plumlee, taylor and teletovic than what we have. the nets are a work in progress and they are getting healthier.. I agree they will be a decent to good team when they are healthy, but to be fair, right now, they are not a good team. Just like us. I can't say we suck and then make excuses for the nets, although, healthy they may end up being a threat in the east.. who knows...
They are the 3rd best team in the east right now behind Miami and Indy. Just go into the playoffs healthy and playing their best ball and they have a chance. That's all you can ask for. We don't have a chance
It was going to be a process with the drastic changes they made. They were not getting out of the gate like gang busters. The east is so bad they can coast through the regular season. They will be a tough out in the playoffs
Just my opinion, but Nets ceiling is higher than ours in the near future. We might have the best player in Melo but it falls off from their.
Knicks get healthy is also promising. Felton 100% is a good player, Amare at 100% is an all star, and Fragile Flu Tyson has to be at DPOY status all for us to make Conf. finals. Nets find health, and chemistry the ceiling is true contender.
Emotionally many are not willing to see this. Certainly there is not enough evidence to back my opinion.
Its why they play the games.

Yep, that's why I don't understand their desire to trade him.

yes they are slowwww and turn the ball over a bunch, way too much. but slow actually works in the playoffs. if they can take care of the ball they will be a tough second round matchup. they really miss kirilenko but pierce does a nice job making that bench more cohesive. they have a big test coming up on the 23rd. i half expect a drubbing but the nets could make it close.

i think they will get steamrolled by indiana no matter what but will give miami a very tough time. getting kirilenko back will be a pretty important development. seems like he will be out for a long while, though.

if williams can stay healthy it changes that team completely.. he is the key..
Jorts had a pretty good game against the Pacers last night.
