Lin would show up each games and score 20+ points if he were the only star of the team or if he were able to play along with the likes of Harden. Rockets coaching staff really needs to figure out how to run Lin and Harden together. Rockets have a potential dangerous backcourt to tap into and yet they want to run Harden as a PG/SG hybrid. Stupid.

When Lin is allowed to chuck up 20 shots attempt, he tends to go into Linsanity mode. He scored 38 points off 21 shots attempt against the Spurs.

Lin isn't a fluke. With the right system, he is downright dangerous.

Lin is clown.

How in the world did a so-called struggling point guard score 38 points against an elite team like Spurs?

Jeremy Lin isn't just any ordinary point guard. A PG scoring 38 points twice in a year against two elite team is no fluke. Let's just face it that Knicks let go of a supreme PG.

Felton is playing well but Lin would have also played well under Woodson.

Well said. We are not deficient so we are taking care of our own.

Im able to enjoy Lin and hope he is in the league a long time.

We moved on because the season started. I know I was upset in the off season how things went but we are doing just fine.

As a "somberite" its reasonable to not "Believe" every thing will work out because knicks have not been very good about personel decisiions for a long time and our record stands as the only tangable record to base that opinion on.

The season had to start to move on and now we see whats happening. Lin is a work in progress in a time we needed a team to come together now.

Given the financial consisderations of the CBA and how a contract can effect one team vs. another we did make a proper choice to let him slide.

NO doubt many of us would prefer otherwise but its a new ball game with new rules.

Good Point. I've noticed lin gets a lot of hate and even Gallo. Just because they're playing for another team doesnt mean that you can't wish them well as long as its not against the knicks of course haha

Why don't we talk (for or against) about Jamal Crawford or Zach Randolph like we talk about Lin and Gallup ?

Mray20 @ 12/12/2012 6:38 AM
waiting for Nash smdh even if they make the playoffs the team is very flawed they will be a quick exit , don't be surprised if Dwight Howard walks at the end of the year he enjoys being a star or entertainer but he does not like the pressure that comes along with it in a big market

Gallo with only 9 points off an awful 3/13 shooting performance last night. Could only manage 2 assists, 2 boards and 1 steal.

Some "superstar" we gave up...

Too funny.

Are you posting this because you want people to chime in and to have another discussion about the trade? Seems to me you want to engage in another back and forth that goes no where.

This thread is for other games going on, and while that does include Gallo, Lin and others, this type of posting is not conducive to anything.

Stop please.

But then again, what about the posters who continue to talk about Jeremy Lin's great performances on this site? As if it's not to have another discussion about letting Lin sign elsewhere? But yeah, I'll leave all former Knicks out of this thread from here on out and should've posted Gallo's struggles within the revisiting the Knicks trade. I'll leave it at that. Carry on...

Check the tread title. This is where all the Lin discussions are done by Lin fans. Any Lin discussion on another thread is initiated by Lin haters.

andrew this goes on and on with some of these guys... as a fan of gallo and lin, I and some others don't bring them up unless it is in the thread about other teams.. this is an attempt to bait, plain and simple... I am glad you are addressing it....

Wow, Jeremy Lin with his FIRST 30 point game in a Rockets jersey after 20 games.

It resulted in a nice L going up against real stars. He's still flash in the pan.

Move on.

Unfortunately it happened with Harden in street clothes. Lin going off when he's the alpha dog with role players around him...beginning to notice a pattern here.

Well thats different than saying his 25 games were a complete fluke and he was exposed

Well, Lin and Gallo's team played in the past two days didn't they? It just so happened that the discussions about Lin spilled over the course of a few days. Is there a rule against discussing player/team performance in a thread called "Other Games.."

He kinda was exposed. He may put up big numbers as the primary option, but his effectiveness goes way down with other stars on the floor.

Also, just the sight of a Miami Heat jersey makes him tinkle on the floor.
