They are fun but take it down a notch :). OKC is elite, Houston is not there yet. Harden is a beast but Lin still has rough edges such as his jumper. Chandler is a nice all around player.
What do you mean take it down a notch? I said two years. They are going up against elite teams at the moment without a care in the world and making those elite teams work for their points/wins.
When was the last time you saw a team blow out the Rockets?
Lin will only continue to improve. He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone at this point except just continue to play excellent basketball consistently. We already know what he's capable of.
The only two weaknesses I see from Lin is his outside perimeter shots and his ability to drive/dribble left. There will be some nights where he shoots 1 for 5 and some nights where he goes 4 for 5.
His mid range/paint drive games are both excellent. He doesn't really have Turnover problems anymore unlike his Linsanity days. Lin is improving and above all, very FUN to watch.
This is why Houston Rockets are the 2nd most favored team for attendance right behind the L.A Lakers. When Rockets come into town, people buy tickets and put their A$$ in the seat.
Ironically, their home game crowd are almost always empty.

PF... I like patrick patterson, but he would be a great backup PF for that team... they need a stud at PF and they are set...
I agree. PF position is their weak spot.
Wow, the rockets sure have turned things around. Amazing team, still needs to mature some. But they almost beat the Spurs at full strength.
They are a playoff team and not lotto bound...
Man, D'Antoni learnt nothing from his stint with us, still either throwing players under the bus via his comments to the media, or just completely failing to take five minutes to explain why to a benched player:
“Not this,” he said Friday after sitting out a fifth consecutive game via the dreaded DNP-Coach’s Decision.“Fifteen years,” the Lakers forward said, recapping his career. “My only thing is let me know why. I don’t think you go from starting and 30-something minutes to not in the rotation whatsoever. And not explaining to me what exactly happened, that’s the toughest thing.

I never get it when coaches refuse to talk to their players- isn't that what they're paid for? It costs nothing and takes little effort, I never really got why D'Antoni always seems so reluctant to do this- it seems like he really doesn't think it's up to him to manage players.

Its too bad he can't learn from his mistakes.

I was thinking the same. I though Terence Jones might be the answer but he is not getting any burn. If they somehow get Milsap from the Jazz, I think they will be there.
Actually, check that, if rockets can get Bargnani from Raptors for Patterson, White, Cook, and Aldrich then I think they get the right stretch 4.

That might be a good fit specially w/ asik at center.

That would be amazing! Some people think they are weak at SF. Parsons is a damn good young player. They are definitely a PF away from doing damage. Bargnani would fit like a glove. If only Dantoni went to Houston like I thought in the offseason

I dont think mchale offensive philosophy is bad he has harden and lin dribble penetrate n kick out if needed.

They would have had a better record if they started doing this at the beginning. Sampson is also to blame.
Harden had two days before the opening game to get ready.
Basically they turned over much of the roster in the offseason also.
Takes time fellas.
Funny to hear Kelvin Sampson is a candidate for the Nets job.
It's a shame. Lin's penetrating is exactly what this Knicks team needs or any nba team for that matter that doesn't have a Paul or Rondo

Yes, but there were very confusing moves that they did at the beginning. They still do certain things weird. For the life of me, I don't understand why Terence Jones does not get any burn. Also, game vs spurs, Greg smith only played 6 min I think. That was a head scratcher.
Only consistent person on the Rockets is Harden. Lol.

only constant is melo. What is your point?
Brandon Roy and his grade 3 arthritic knees were meant to start practicing yesterday after having his knees scoped, but has 'suffered a setback'. Sheesh- we all said it would be Allan Houston part 2- why the heck did the Twolves sign him? What they're doing is irresponsible in my opinion, he's really jeapordizing his future health because he's in denial, and they shouldn't be enduldging him.

They took a big risk and it failed.

How about Ryan Anderson - he seems to be having agood season.
