these guys play hard, play D, play team ball, and win at a high rate. What is there not to like?I swear i think u live in an alternate realty. Y not just root for the Nuggets or the Rockets and be done with it.
the team is beating teams they should be beating. they are playing well on their home court. both these things are what you need to be a playoff team.
the issue, however, is will they win the division? this must be the long term objective. right now they are one whole game in from of the nets and a whopping 3.5 games ahead of philly.
furthermore, are they going to gain the second seed in the east? anything less than that spells trouble. right now they are second but then again 3.5 games separate 2nd seed from 8th seed.
this is the genuine big picture.
What does this have to do with Killa4luv's post?

Too small a sample size. None of this counts, either:
5 time All-Star
5 time All-NBA
2 Olympic Gold Medals-playing a key role
National Championship, MOP, All-American, All-Big East
Career 25 and 7 guy
Playoffs every year
Never below .500
2 50 Point games
All-Rookie Team
Robbed of the R.O.Y
Thanks, GodNation.

Give them time. They're waiting on Lin to post a triple double, and the Lakers to go on a 15 game winning streak.

Oooh ok. So do you think they have a good chance of competing for that 2nd spot?

they have a chance but it's too early to tell if they have a good chance.
1)kidd is vitally important to our team, and felton is just not adequate without a player like kidd to help. so we need kidd out there if we are to have a good chance.
2)i am hoping that stoudemire comes off the bench and works with prigoni. that will help the team's chances.
3)the return of shumpert is a big question mark. first is he as good as he was in terms of lateral quickness. more important, he likely displaces kidd which becomes a major problem. it's about fit. i think we may be better off with shumpert coming off the bench if kidd is able to play.
As a life long fan,I have to believe that they will get the 1st spot. Why not?? Look wade is gonna get hurt sooner or later and the cheat dont have the deep bench we have. With the new rules on flopping lewus wont get the calls like last yr. I understand we are an older team, but we can keep sending waves of players, where the cheat cant. I have a lot of faith in Woody and his coach team, it just hasta be. You can pass me the koolaid but I gotta believe this team has the confidence to feel that they can win every game and I can see that confidence. Like I said just a life long fan talking here.

Rashard? He flopped a lot last year? Well either the way, the rules dont actually stop the refs from calling flops in game. And I hate to say it but I dont have too much faith in Woody right now. He has shown a few times that when things get tough, he'll ride a few players into the ground no matter how bad they're doing. Its still a long season though and I hope he proves me wrong.
Teamball,I dont think Woody realizes how good his team is and I think he will learn as we get along. Is there something wrong with that?? MDA didnt wanna adjust to his players but I hope that Woody does. Really, by the past games we have played this yr I think it a learning experience with the players and the cooching staff and to me thats a positive. Lets not forget the winning culture that we have.

Nothing wrong with at all. Woddy has already adjusted to the players and I did say that I hope he proves me wrong. If it's a learning experience, I have all the patience in the world as long as the Knicks succeed.

done with it? with what... I follow the rockets and nuggets and root for them as I do the knicks... ok... now what? feel better?
when the knicks play I root for them to win... I also follow other teams as well... teams that represent things that are important to me.... knicks used to do that..
So you follow the Nuggets/Rockets who are losing yet say they Knicks used to represent things that are important to you now they dont but we're finally successful after all these years
So you rather see teams like Denver and Houston play 100% team ball and lose while the Knicks mix it up with isolation and play hardcore defense and win......ok I get it now
both teams are at .500 or above. not sure what you are talking about "losing"..LOL.. one team already cleaned our clocks, I like the way they play ball and both have a bright future which is somewhat exciting to follow.. good organizations that do their homework..
the knicks don't mix much up.. it is an iso chuck offense.. you don't get it.. at all..
I knew tkf was gonna come out. Look tkf you believe what you want and Ill believe what I want. And the only thing I GET is that we are 12-4,how do you not get that? And teamball I wasnt talking about lewis,I was talking about the golden child.

It's important HOW you win. What is your expectation for this team? How far can they go? What is the goal?
12-4 speaks for itself.
Its early still and don't think he eclipse Durant or Lebron but Melo has stepped up another level.
Im not ready to bow down to Mooby as my lord and Savior but he is EARNING my respect.

So does 13-3 when putting up a 38pts 22reb performance but then again who's keeping count.

You and I would hope Grizzles fans.
I Still don't understand the point of the "so and so is also doing well" posts have to do with the Knicks best player Mvp considerations.
What? No more?
Has there even been a 100 page non sticky/alba?
Melo's still on fire from 3 point range
