Just shows we are not ready to be called "elite" just yet. We still have a half to put these guys away but we are looking like pre Linsanity Knicks right now.

Please. Heat almost lost to Rockets last night. You don't blow out every team. Even the crap teams come to play every once in awhile.

Except that happens to the heat once in a blue moon. The Knicks always for some reason dont show up for bad teams

No the knicks always go through this. They play down to weaker teams

Not true. They beat up on the Sixers when they could have play'd down to them. This is a new team..no need to get cliche.

Melo's numbers were good but that was by far the worst half he played this year. He hit shots but did NOT move the ball!

Halftime
ORL 53 NYK 49
holfresh @ 11/13/2012 8:15 PM
Poor defense by Melo..Bad substitutions/line ups by Woodson..Melo freaking pouting too much..Too much Sheed..Woodson needs to get it together..How does Woodson take out JR with the wholesale subs when he was the only hot player..Bad subbing ..

We lost the 1st half. Panic city.

"Elite" status is earned over a larger sample.

Im sure you have ORL chalked up as a win but its the NBA and knicks on the road.

Im not paniced but the defense has been awful against oen of the worst offenses in the nba

I never said anything about blowing anyone out. What I am saying is they don't even look like they want to be here.

Not true they almost lost to hawks and nuggets last week too and looked terrible winning. Took a 4 pt play from Ray Allen to beat the Nuggets. It's all about pullign otu the win at end no matter what. Game counts as one win whether you win by 1 or 30.

NUPE @ 11/13/2012 8:17 PM
The problem is not the refs. The Knicks d is not looking good right now. That is the main problem. Don't scapegoat the refs.
CashMoney @ 11/13/2012 8:18 PM
People.....relax. We played a crap 1st half and still have another half of ball to go. Woodson is probably going nuts in the locker room and the Knicks could play a killer 2nd half.

Sixers are a good team

We play'd them without Bynum and Richardson. Two of their starters...that was a weaker team and we didn't play down to their level. Teams will not be in sync every game. but you have to watch how they respond in 2nd half to see if they are a different team. This is not the same teams from the past so the term "always" is irrelevant.

Me neither but sluggish play happens with every team..even the Elite Teams. It's how you fight thru it.

How do you know this?

Way too early to be playing Camby and Sheed together..Those guys are up to speed yet..

Guess he wanted to try it in a low risk situation. I don't think he will be playing around with the rotation in the second half.

Really bad first half for him and the coach...Zero ball movement...Poor defense...But Hollinger prob thinks he is tearing it up...
