they are comin out of the woodwork. Loving the return of the posters from the dark years. The influx of fair weather fans is getting hard to stomach. Too many old guys missing!

I think we should make them race down 33rd street. Winner gets to come back

nice! Loser eats a plate of beans on the street!
The drama is back! Excellent! Since the old guys are back and we need drama, instead of Houston vs Sprewell we can have Shumpert vs Smith and this can cause new posters to be banned for a month! Am I next???
I love a good argument but I don't think drama is what this forum needs because other long time posters have expressed their displeasure with the constant arguing and how they no longer post because of it. We are only 9 games into the season so it probably won't last and we will get back to arguing about the future eventually. Knicks win a ring and everyone is happy at the end of the season
Thanks Martin and Andrew for selflessly running a tight ship! Kudos to you!
Thanks guys! Happy Thanksgiving!
Guns,if the mayans are right we aint got much time to argue and there wont be any rings to give out( as I close thedoor of my bomb shelter.) And Fish, who you calling old? So I have been watching the Knicks since 1967, so I saw both their championships and parades down Broadway. So I shed a tear when they lost in 94 and 99. Who you calling old?? Im a young spry 57 yrs old that in no way shape or form is racing down 33rd street without my hovercraft having a full charged battery and as for the plate of beans FURGEDABOUTIT.LOL

You have a point. 1 month from today the world is going to end!
Figures, our Knicks are playing great and the world is going to end. Poetic justice.

I think posters just get burned out. Most of them love arguing - or used to - that's why they came here in the first place. But how many years can you do that?
So now they just come back from time-to-time and do a little "drive-by-posting" about how awful the forum has become; then they disappear again. If they had the old fire they'd hang around and fight the good fight (whatever that means.)
You took a long hiatus yourself, as I recall - maybe that saved you from burnout.
No drive by poster here.Im in it for the long haul, into june when we with the chip.Thats what older, loyal fans do,hang in there until we win the chip.

The Mayans have, for the most part, been misunderstood when it came to their calendar ending on 12/21/12. There is nothing about the world ending. It's all up to the individual interpretation. I personally think that a new chapter is going to start and the old one is going to live itself out to its end. For a long time now, the old timers, our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents have been the voice of reason. Rightfully so. Except that the current adult generation is farther from our human potential then ever before. The change is coming, perhaps not in America at first. However, bright minds are moving out of the city and are looking to live the life to its fullest while surrounded by living things, creations that we can feel love toward. Yes, my definition of love limits it to only living things. As families build more love around themselves we enter a new era. The Age of Consciousness.

Sorry for the long winded post. It's just that there has been too much of this " end of the world" talk and its a bit misdirected imho. Let's talk about how WE are the ones ending it instead, with the climate change and the disappearence of certain species. Then there is the indifference to such events by our government ,on every level.
Anyways, Martin and Andrew - awesomeness is the word that comes to mind when describing this board! Major props
i think kam still lurks a little
Bippity. No one ever remembers the invisible intern.
