I know it was a blow-out and subsequently the general mood on here is bad, but Melo had a good game.
He was terrific offensively (and the reason we didn't lose by 50 or more), although he was bad on defense, but to be perfectly honest everybody was cr@p on defense or else the Rockets wouldn't have put 131 past us.
I feel as if people let the overall result (which granted is the most important thing at the end of the day) cloud their judgment too much.
When we win almost everybody "played well", is "doing great", etc. even when a particular person hasn't exactly stood out or anything of the sort.
But when we lose suddenly noone's allowed to have a good game for some reason.

I agree the defending was terrible, and it was painful to watch them go down like that. But try to look at things from a bit of a different perspective.

But, he went into diva mode and got a Tech. Started forcing the ball and some "bad" turn overs. MVP is suppose to lead his team. He did, but not positive. THe defense was awful.

This MVP thing works both ways.

Maybe expectations are too high? Its a good team. Forget the trade, we not talking trade anymore. We talking about Melo as MVP type player.

What I saw with my eyes last nite was a high volume shooter have a great first half. He looked great. So did Parsons.

I saw knicks rely on the 3 pt shot. Saw Melo get frustrated with the game.

Two games in a row now.

didn't we see better numbers from carmelo in denver? sure we did and where did that get them... the guy hasn't changed, he is a child and I don't trust him as the face of this franchise.... his numbers are not special, not even his career best.. why so much faith in the dude.... he isn't a winner.. he is showing you why....

I would feel better if the knicks made kidd the starting PG, and when amare got healthy said, we are going to run a pick and roll offense and stick carmelo in the corner....

how about you speak without bias toward him, constructive criticism instead of bashing and sarcasm, its absurd that you do this every time some one says anything good and realgm doesn't have a no negativity towards Melo policy its all about how you say what you say, he's not perfect but he's not as bad as you make him out to be

sort of new here, so can't comment that much on what goes on here, but this season so far it seems that when the Knicks win it's always deemed as a "team effort", which is fine. But what I don't get is then how come are losses basicaly "Melo's fault" with some of you. (granted some people did mention Chandler and Felton, but still).

i dont think people think its melo fault. There were a lot of players who had awful games like tyson. We didnt like melo arguing while the rockets drove down the court
