Melo is like a small version of Moses Malone. I'd say 90% of his offensive rebounds are off his own misses.

The real question is, why can't more players his size have a deadly mid range shot..he can dunk, but why extend all that energy when you can shoot over anybody, get by anybody for an easy lay up, get to the Ft line consistantly, rebound better then most his height..

Yeah, Pierce has unbelievable ability to create space and time his shot--one of the most efficient shooters I've seen in the past couple of decades. And this is from someone who has hated the Celtics the past few years.

Sorry all this talk about headbutts reminded me of this moment:

I think this is a good thing for his health and for Knicks overall.
STAT will be back and will quickly dunk himself to medical retirement.

I don't really care about dunking. If he hit his FT yesterday then the Knicks win in regulation. He shot a good enough % and has started converting his layups. I could care less if he is dunking.
