Why do yu get to let the Spurs game go but hold on real tight to the Dallas loss? Should have beatent the Nyets and the Mavs and loss. Probably shuld have loss the Spurs game and won. Everything evens out. Its a long season.

you misunderstood. I meant we were playing great basketball in that 6-0 streatch. Lately we look like we ran out of gas a little

Yeah, I must admit.....it is disheartening to see one of the better closers...not close.

+1
Felton doesn't play like sheehit, Melo hits his dayum FT's, JR doesn't throw away an open layup late in the game, and we'd be reading all about how impressive and competitive the N*yets are against this Knicks squad of old bags.

Breathe easy Brooklyn. You got one the hard way. Enjoy it.

It's got to be better than your last two seasons.

Oh, and be careful, don't get hurt.

ppl just want Amare in a different role..I personally think he's still a problem for defenses when healthy

Well, Amar'e puts another player on the floor that can hit an open J, get to FT line or finish at the rim. He is also a solid rebounder and shot blocker. He is sorely missed.

Maybe, he really wasn't able to do any of those things last year on a consistent basis.

He averaged 17.5 and 7.5 and a block per game last year while injured the whole season. We could have used that last night.

All of our losses are off of back to backs on the road.

We've beaten Miami and San Antonio.

We have a very good record with a tough schedule WITHOUT Shump and STAT, who we are now starting to miss badly.

We've shown the ability to run a very fluid offense and play great D. Hopefully webcam do that without Kidd if he misses extended time.

This loss hurt a lot, but not nearly as much as Houston. Melo and Chandler were great. I'm not going to pile on Melo for missing the last shot and free throws after playing 50 minutes. I think if Shumpert comes back ready to go and STATs health can be managed we're top 2-3 in the east. I think we're a better team than Brooklyn. But they showed me something tonight.

This is a very important point (though the Houston loss was not back-to-back). All four of our losses -- even though a couple of them do sting, especially the Nets -- have been the types of games even excellent teams will lose. They're all road games, and three were back-to-backs against good to excellent teams (Memphis, Dallas, Nets), and the other (Houston) was going to be tough not matter what.

The key to winning close to 60 games is winning at home and beating bad and mediocre teams on the road. Do that and you are going to win your share of games, and we have pretty much done that, really since Woody took over.

That said, my overall feeling about the Nets game is that when you consider all our injuries and Felton's horror show and the Nets playing very well overall and Deron being huge and the game being at B'klyn -- the fact that the Nets needed OT to beat us is not a good sign for them. I think when we are at 100 percent we are easily better than them.

When we were up by two at the half I shook my head and was wondering how the Nets were not up by double digits.

I still can't believe that most of the analyst and sports panal's are saying the NETS are better, even with amare and shump..Thats mind boggling

Tonight will be tough as it alwasy is in Milwaukee. No one is happy with the way we have playede the last couple of games, but to keep things in persepctive, were losing on the road to pretty good Home teams.

If we lose to the Wizards on the road, then it's time to press the Panic button.

The Wizards game is a home game for us and teams with MVPs and real LEADERS don't PANIC, especially not less than 1/4 into a season. Neither really should fans if they believe this exist for the team they root for and believe they are contenders.

I always think anytime the media is negative of the Knicks is a great time to panic. Maybe even drift over to some other team's board.

Except when the media's busy sucking down Linmilk or getting on 8-1 bandwagons.

Or briefly enjoying getting Woody's.

IrishKnickFan @ 11/28/2012 2:42 PM
honestly im getting a little nervous. I mean the knicks have always had bad luck with injuries. There is no timetable for kidd since back injuries are no joke. Amare we dont know if he will even be effective/healthy. I love Shumpert but ACL injuries are also a long rehabilitation. Also teams have started to figure our our weaknesses on defense lately. Im not trying to be negative i just really want to finally have a great knicks season for teh first time since 2000
3G4G @ 11/28/2012 2:46 PM
Has anyone heard word on Amar'e? Like is he running doing any strength conditioning? We are receiving reports on Shump fairly regularly but why not Amar'e?
