Stern is trying to promote Brooklyn, since New York is well established with the NBA's marketing objectives.
Woodson deserved it. But in all fairness, it's not totally shocking that Avery Johnson got it.

Once they start playing teams out west liek we had to they will come back to earth. also they have eben lucky injury wise but they have guys like deron and lopez who are injury prone

the lost to the lakers and GSW(who is playing well), they beat the clippers and portland.. we played Hous,Dallas, memphis and the spurs.... I don't think the nets are going away... they are as good as we are, if you expect the knicks to be in the hunt, I see no reason why we should feel the nets are just going to go away... they are 11-5, where do you expect them to be 8-8?
Not sure why Spolstra didn't get it if we're going off box scores and ish as a standard.
I guess with the Nets beating us that may have sealed it up for Avery
The NBA should give the Knicks every award no matter the criteria so no one can cry foul

Yeah that seems kind of wild. Weren't most writers saying Nets had better roster. No respect for Bully Ball. We gonna have to take it.

Yeah that was a painful loss. You know what though..not once in that game did I think the Nets were better than us or were on our level. We just ran out of gusto at end and of course Felton missing everything.

+1 Knicks lost that game Nets didn't win it, wait til Kidd is back for the revenge game Dec 11 and god help them once Amare and Shump come back

Plus Wallace flopped on Melo near the end of regulation- he got warned or fined for it after the game. So as well as no JKidd and Brewer going out with injury, they had to cheat to beat us too!

I wouldn't say cheat..they play'd extremely hard and play some tough defense but I like our chances against them.
Another Factor..Old Man Stackhouse play'd out his mind. We will have that scouted next time. And I hope next matchup they give Felton those same shots. He will make them pay.

Calm down Earl lol. I love felton in fact im probably a bigger felton fan than most people. However he did have a bad game so thats why i pointed that out.
