I think it's good news that there was a physical problem and it's not like he suddenly lost his ability to hit in the playoffs. Still his body is falling apart and no one knows how he'll recover. Hip surgeries are uncommon in pro athletes. I don't know if anyone's ever had two hip surgeries and then still performed at a high level.

Wow, another season, another few months of Arod on the DL. Now there's a statistic I'd be interested in seeing. How much has Arod made being on the DL?
