haha - what a dikhead
Gallo and Lawson did play well though Gallo got torched at the end WHEN IT COUNTS
Melo was rusty but battles his ass off!
Felton and JR were worse than puke
melo was a chucker bro... gallo played the type of efficient game I like from my players
jason kidd was the key to the win... plain and simple.....
later yall..
What is Gallo's FG%, TS%, FT% for the current season compared to Melo's? You are just a troll Gallo fankid and are hyping Gallo despite his torrid and horrid lack of efficiency year in and year out. Your Nuggets lost tonight. Go sit in a corner.invalid question. you compile stats over a large sample size to spot trends. carmelo has had a career of mediocrity in terms of efficiency with a 54-55TS%. tonight he hit his career average and the team struggled to get the win. thank god we have kidd. he is a positive-sum player.
meanwhile gallinari has a career TS% of closer 58.6 which is borderline elite so you figure this figure will rise over the course of the season... while melo's regresses. in other words gallo is very efficient. what are you talking about?
tkf has a great pair of eyes and he sees the game very very clearly. you should show him some respect regardless of how you strongly you feel about carmelo anthony.
without jason kidd the knicks are closer to a .500 team.

Nice Geek Stats...what are the stats on the final score or season records. I can't get on ESPN help me out.
the knicks are an old team and the odds are against them remaining healthy-- rasheed was out tonight.
the nuggets are a young team and they will not have the injury or tired legs issues the knicks will inevitably have.
the home team prevailed as you would expect.

You guys always have an excuse I swear. Who cares what we will be without JKidd .. we have him! You're a fan right? How about stating if we had Amare or either Shump we win a a couple more games, for example the one in Chicago last night. Ridiculous.
Melo closed the game in the clutch and the first thing he does is praise someone else.
I've been on this board for about a month and I already gave up on trying to put some sense into him about anything regarding Melo. He's just a straight up hater, and even if the Knicks somehow come away with the title this year, he'll still find something to b1tch about.

losing respect for you man.
Don't worry, Melo keeps playing well and he'll probably quit posting here too....... go to the excel spread sheet for real basketball. ROFL

you know what that is unfair and mean-spirited.
i want a title for my team as much as anyone else here.
the knicks have gone all in to win a title in the next two seasons. if they don't win a title then what?
i did not like the way this present team was assembled one bit and i still don't. because i don't believe they will win the title in the next two years.
i have been reflecting on my relationship to this game and my team lately and i realize that i take more pleasure in studying the game and its players than actually rooting like a typical fan. maybe my contempt for dolan and all this losing forced me to adopt this position.
so i take the geek stat route and try not to get too exuberant about the team. i take the long approach.
you guys take my contributions way too personally in my opinion. the players who play the game the right way i enjoy watching because they are so instrumental to success, just as players who play the wrong way detract from success.

Past success is not an idicator of future success nor is past failure indicative of future failure. This is the 2012 New York Knicks. Players progress and regress but watching the games, enjoying wins and lamenting over losses is what makes one a fan.

I do not mean to be mean spirited and I apologize for coming off that way but you need to stop this nonsense and allow the rest of us to enjoy this/these victories.
I study the game too and know that we have issues with low efficient players but a stat geek should not look at the TS of a game and not see how and where it played out. He finished 10-18 and dominated in the 4th. On defense too.
I want Melo to be more efficient too. And I am far from a homer and try to be impartial.
Being an I told you so guy when the knicks lose and failing to give credit in wins is becoming a tired act.
If this stuff bothers you so much, why put yourself through it?
Is Melo having a better year? Take it for what its worth and try to be open minded. Denver and all their assets are mediocre with a low ceiling. Were you guys not pining for Iggy?
Your view is slowly becoming obsolete and the smart people around the NBA are taking notice too.
And, MDA was an awful coach for Melo and Woody seems to be the correct one.

gallo played a very efficient good game. melo made a couple of great baskets on him late. it was a good duel.
22 points off turnovers for the knicks: that is a key statistic.
faried 0 offensive boards this is underachieving for faried as he is the second best offensive rebounder in the league.
iguodala 5 turnovers and 3 assists it is usually the other way around isn't it. he, like melo, could also afford to be more efficient.
gallo fired up an air ball. that was the only glaring error.
lawson lost the ball at the end while the nuggets had a chance. that was the game right there.

The knicks won despite playing awful. That's awesome.
Denver shot 55 pct.
