I will go on record and say Pablo Prigioni will do well and make many Knicks fans eyebrows raise .
Then many will get on the bandwagon, I'm Prigs # 1 fan for pg on the NY Knicks.
He gets everybody moving you will see, even Brewer can gain confidence playing with Pablo.
Then reality will set in that he is going on 36
20-25 minutes will allow him to show he can run the Knicks offense.

I just can't get past a basketball player not being able to make a layup to the point of being scared to even attempt one. Ditto for Brewer btw. How does that even happen?

I still think he will be ok and we will see now that Felton is out. I see him as an Andre Miller type with out the post game but with the three. Right now all we get are brief snap shots from guy that is used to starting.
I still think prigs needs a good PNR partner. Camby did most of his PNRs tonight and that is not Camby's game. Prigs real test is what he does with Amare coming off the bench.

You can't have a lineup with three guys who can't create, in which two can't shoot at all, then complain that the pg shoots too much.
the team has been getting by, but the facade is losing it's luster, time to use a real lineup.
The bet starting 5 they can send out currently is Kidd, Felton, Smith, Melo,
Chandler. But then your bench goes from ok to terrible.
That's why we've only scratched the surface so far. With stat and shump back we are the deepest team in the East.
I like your optimism but I wouldn't hold my breath expecting Amare to come back and play like his old self again. Shump also can't just come back off a knee injury with spring in his steps.

He does. It looked great when he was doing it with Cope. Throw Amare into the equation and it should be a lot better.
He makes the same impact every game he plays in. Stealing the inbound passes may be the most lax players are in the association Pablo has figured that out.
Pablo Prigioni was a + 17 last night, when our big guns come back, he will do even better, we don't need another pg we need our stars to and big men to come back. Jr will have to defend the oppossing teams pg until Felton comes back no biggie
Prigs will be fine.

Prigioni's style of play makes him an absolute fireball on the court. On the defensive end, the 35 year old likes to chase down opponents with his sights set on taking the ball away. Able to catch a bevy of inbounds passes, Prigioni can run away with the ball, taking away the opponent's possession, all the while creating another potential opportunity for the Knickerbockers on the offensive end.
Though such an attack serves as the Argentine's signature move, Prigioni isn't simply a one trick pony. After dishing out a regular season-high of 9 assists, the floor general further proved he knows how to get his teammates involved. His fellow players appreciate the energy he brings along with him each time he hits the hardwood, and it's obvious they feed off of it.
As fate would have it Prigioni's international flavor helps him mesh quite well with Copeland, who has some overseas experience of his own. The pair play off one another nicely, and clearly have a sound understanding of one another after playing in similar systems over the years.
Prigioni is also in a unique situation when it comes to his conditioning, much like Kidd. After playing the role of starting point guard during his time in Europe, he came to the NBA, fully ready to embrace a larger role for the Knicks, only at a time like this. Not forced to log too many minutes in the season's first two plus months, Prigioni is now poised to shoot out of the Knicks' canon of secret weapons, certainly all rested up and ready to go.
Prigioni can run this team and penetrate when the rest of the team allows him to play the position. Too many guys want to all of a sudden try and do what he does and set people up.
Kidd shouldn't be starting Prigs should, that was JR won't steal his Thunder at running the team.
Pablo will be up for this game, he's playing against Euros, tonight we will see why we grabbed him from the Spaniard League.
He should be starting while Felton is out.
It took Pablo awhile to get adjusted to the NBA game, but now he's showing he's a floor general something like Jose Calderon in Toronto. All he needs is the freedom to play his position the way he has played it for all these years. A Smart and humble cagy veteran who plays the right way.
Larry Brown would be proud.
