I have been thinking a lot about the Lakers today because of the Knicks game. The Lakers kind of remind me of the Yankees when they used to put together teams that only Joe Torre could manage. The Lakers the last few years have done that with teams that needed Phil Jackson. However, I think things changed with this years team with Steve Nash. If Nash can keep the ball movement going and the offense isn't all Kobe I think this thing could work. Nash might be the savior for this team. I think D'Antoni is willing to stay out of the way and let Nash run the offense and rely on his all nba d guys on defense. I think the Lakers end up with the 5 or 6 seed in the west.
