LOL they leave the only person scoring open in PP.
Amare loses his man again
I have no idea why we keep leaving Pierce open for 3 when he is the only one scoring.

yup. pretty to watch
I was a fan of his since his HS days, i cursed the knicks when we didn't draft him... and of course the dreaded dice trade.... I followed amare the day he stepped in phoenix... I hated that he wasn't in a knicks uniform.. we finally get him and he comes in playing all world... then the injuries... man that just sucks!!!!!!!!!!
I hope he can regain most of the amare of old, although that may be wishful thinking.... I always felt that this team would be better run through him, but that is another topic and I don't want to derail.. just happy to see him back..
I was being sarcastic
Sorry!
He was a great player out of high school and I wanted him too.
However, even you should be able to admit that he has been a big FAIL here and it was an awful signing.
Does not mean that he is not talented and that he is not unselfish. He is just brittle.
he has been a fail due to injuries not effort and ability, but we knew his history when we got him.... It was an ok signing that turned out bad so far..

That was not Amare. Cant blame him for everything bad on defense lol

imagine playing him and Shump together? the other team would have only like 16-18 seconds by the time they crossed halfcourt

I'd be satisfied if he can just get his offense back. Not expecting much on D. I do want to see effort though.
Another bad close to the quarter

It was a fail due to injuries. Effort? Defense or Offense?
How was it ok? It was horrible!
Phx the only other offer at 3 years? C'mon be fair. This will go down as one of the worst signings in a while.
Thank heaven that they couldn't give hive 8 years.

A big "fail"? Wrong. We've yet to miss the postseason since landing Amar'e Stoudemire. Maybe you missed 2010-2011 where Stoudemire took our team on his back, and led our franchise to the postseason for the first time in what felt like forever. Maybe you missed the part where Amar'e set a franchise record for consecutive games of 30+ points. Maybe you missed the part where Melo forced his way our of Denver in order to compete alongside Stoudemire moving forward.
A complete failure? Due to getting hurt? Wrong. That's basketball, and injuries DO happen in sports.
Really? Injuries do happen? Ya mean it just effin happened? Nobody saw any of this coming right? No red flags? Signs? LMFAO
Yes I remember 2010-11 where he had a good first have a no showed in the second half and playoffs. Year 2? Funny. Year 3? Funnier.
Do you actually think that Melo would not have come here if not for Amare? Please! Melo came for max money. If not here then he goes to NJ. He is no saint.
So Stat was just a great signing because he brought Melo? That position is more sad than comical.
Amar'e Stoudemire completely changed the entire culture of our Knicks franchise moving forward. From day 1. We've yet to miss the postseason since landing Amar'e.
this is one thing we can agree on.... but I will say we took a risk with his inury history and one could ask were knicks really in position to do that to the tune of 100mil?
Beautiful assist from Melo to Novak. Novak with the swish!
2nd Qtr 0:04
NYK 56 BOS 51
Novak doing a better job of draining 3s with someone in his face.
put novak in at the right time
took a foul at the right time
taking out Melo and putting Brewer back in at the right time
Woody is coaching the hell out of the end of this half

It was a defensive switch that he missed the recovery
Without bad last 2 minutes of both quarters we would have been up by 20.

Holy crap that would be a wet dream.
1 year of solid offense and I take it.
good D by Amare to deny Pierce. Happy with anyone but Pierce shooting

Looking at play it looked like JR should have rotated to Pierce which he missed. Didn't think that was Amare's rotation.
