Knicks · Video of Melo waiting for KG by team bus (page 2)

Legion Sports @MySportsLegionKevin Garnett supposedly told Carmelo Anthony his wife LaLa tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.
Same guy that said Charlie V. looks like a cancer patient, so we already know he doesn't care about crossing the line.
I'm not saying Melo didn't have a right to be mad at K.G. I'm saying he has to handle it differently.
Tim Legler was on ESPN First Take said this happens all the time on the court and in Locker rooms. He said Garnett instigated everything yesterday accomplishing his goal but cooler heads need to prevail. Carmelo has to handle things differently.

The Grizz, Bulls, and now the C's have taken them out of their game plans by being physical with them, and you can bet the Pacers are going to do the same on Thursday. If they don't find a way to overcome this, teams will continue to believe that they can beat the Knicks by pushing them around.
Apology coming from a fan for a player who coined his play as BULLY BALL!!!!
Get Real....one thing we all know about Bullies....they hate getting punched back absolutely can't stand it and when they do they have no idea what to do. This is what we witnessed yesterday and a few other times this season with this team in particular Melo. It's becoming a trend.
What are you talking about?? Melo didn't get confrontational until KG kneed him in the groin and threw a cheap blow at Amare after the whistle. We have no idea what KG was saying to Melo and it's a few rumors going around that he said something about his wife. My question is, have we seen Melo lose it like this? No! So obviously it's more to just being physical on the court smh.
KG is included as one of the Bullies who doesn't like to get punched back. Garnett is notorious for his antics and didn't do anything yesterday that he hasn't done in most games he plays and past games against us. Let's stop acting like Melo was this innocent saint, he constantly porkchop dudes, flails his arms and elbows into players and/or swing his arms wildly on offense and defense. They both were very guilty yesterday. The point I'm making our star becomes easily unraveled when players get physical with him and he's shown this several times this season already.
Did you read his fellow teammates comments...Amar'e?
Amar'e Stoudemire also weighed in on what Garnett might have done to anger Anthony."It was more just talk," he said. "More talk more than anything. Words are pretty sharp, so when you say certain things, it gets under your skin and it gets you a little angry. And that happens to the best of us. We've got to make sure that we keep our composure and see if we can beat a team like Boston."
As much of a dope Amar'e can be at times he's SPOT ON here.
amare is spot on.... carmelo has been in the league 10 years.. he should not be new to this..

these are millionaires playing a GAME. it's their JOB to maintain their poise and to WIN the GAME. if melo allows someone to get into his head that's melo's problem. gamesmanship is the psychological aspect of the game.

Reggie Miller got under the skin of Starks and we praised Starks. I can't see why we shouldn't be praising Melo. No big deal learn from this and come back stronger, next game Vs Boston Melo should come out with composure and bring it. One good thing about what was learned from the loss is that Boston revealed their plan going forward Melo should know what to expect and make the necessary adjustments. USE YOUR TEAMMATES.

Kick his Azz.
Anthony declined to be more specific about the nature of Garnett's comments, and Garnett did not talk to reporters after the Celtics practiced Tuesday. According to a league source, Garnett and Anthony did speak by phone Tuesday to clear the air after Monday night's confrontation.
Might be enough to prevent a suspension, we'll see.

put yourself in melo's shoes. what does melo answer? what do you answer?

Dralphaeus pretty much got it covered over two posts in the "Not excusing Melo" thread.
the answer is you remove the staff from the sensei's hands and... walk away.
Both were screaming and yelling and going at it. Fk you very much, TMZ.

yea, this almost should have gotten a new thread.. pretty much confirms that it was escalating and he should not have been by that bus..
you can thank TMZ if melo gets suspended...

That sucks. ESPN showed only the part where Melo is waiting outside the bus. Didn't know they actually were face to face. Hope Melo can channel this into an MVP like performance the next time they meet and his teammates will have his back.

Inspirational. Truly.
