Knicks · Novak on Little Nathan........... (page 1)

Nalod @ 1/12/2013 3:01 PM
Shame the little dude with so much talent can't find a place to stick and a long term contract.

LOVED that response
gunsnewing @ 1/12/2013 3:26 PM
Special Nate > Little Nathan
smackeddog @ 1/12/2013 3:27 PM
Great response- and good to see Novak talking some trash. I'd like to see him play with a bit more fire- seems to be a bit passive lately.
sebstar @ 1/12/2013 3:31 PM
that was a vicious comment, but nate rob > steve novak as a player

It's not that he's passive, it's just that he can't do anything but shoot threes. The most passionate and aggressive player in the world would look passive if all he did was shoot.

This is why I want him to gain strength, so he can bang a little

3G4G @ 1/12/2013 3:32 PM
Nice to see our players are learning(rolling eyes). Boy are our players easily rattled
Mray20 @ 1/12/2013 3:41 PM
That was a hilarious response I love it, Nate is a fool no reason for him to do the double check and try to mock Steve at all, Novak just does it cause he's a Packers fan.

KryptoNate > Novakain??? Can't argue with that.

Yup. Fully agree, let your talking be done on the court.

He was asked a question what was he supposed to say ? No comment? come on it's not that serious I thought it was humorous

While it's cool and all Novak does it to pay homage being a Wisconsin guy at the same time he let it go to his head and started over doing it. Let's keep it real what major star players have signature moves after converting plays on the court? For the most part it's kind of corny. It's Rogers move and should stay Rogers at least when you consider he's still playing the game. I could see if Rogers had finished his career and was done playing retiring as a legend and then he adopts it like other players did with Jordan and the Tongue thing

I can think of maybe a few here and there who have a little signature demonstration after making a play....

Present

WestBrook does the guns drawn and fired

Kobe does the underbite rape face

Stevenson wave hand over face as if on fire

Jason Terry jet landing along with Pierce

Knicks team and others in the NBA 3 fingers to the head

Vince Carter crank dat

3 ball one eye cover by many more so previous couple seasons

Past

Motumbo used to wave the finger

Webber used to mean mug

Walker used to pump his chest and shimmy

Jordan tongue I guess

L.J. elbow

Shaq look at hand as if it's alive, flex superman muscle, and the frat salute

Q-Rich and Miles head bump

All of this stuff is totally unnecessary for the most part.

gunsnewing @ 1/12/2013 4:23 PM
Novak starts hitting 3's at the pace he did last year he can discount triple check all he likes. Hopefully once Felton gets back he can go back to doing it more often

If it isn't that serious, then don't feel the urge to defend it.

Didn't find it funny at all, the team lost, and yeah he could have said "no comment".

I have no issue with him doing the celebration at all, all is fair in a contest.

He could have said.....that's Nate one of the league's high personalities on the court, I'm focused on finding and knocking down shots when I have the opportunity so I can continue doing the DCDC to my opponents.

It's not a big deal. Just a missing understanding on Nate's part. Just Nate beig Nate

Yeah Nate has mad a couple Top 10 current players in the league trash talk list...so obviously he resorts to doing things to get under player's skin to some degree. Like you said it's Nate being Nate. Everyone and their mom knows he still has immature ways about him no need to sour grape over his antics like Novak did. It's a continuing display showing the armor is cracking on this team.

Novak needs to see if he can finish the season not being a 1 dimensional 1 trick pony instead of trying to get digs back at Nate.

knickscity @ 1/12/2013 4:34 PM
Nate isn't the first player to mock Novak either.
Nalod @ 1/12/2013 4:35 PM

I think its nate just having fun in the garden and nothing more. Novak's coments were also in fun.

Its fun guys, thats all.

Didn't Granger do it last year?
