No one can insult you unless you allow it....that's a personal decision to allow it to be shown.

To me that's worse.

So if that's what Novak did in response to to Nate's mocking him makes his response worse than the original offense. But if Nate doesn't get offended does it still count ? ( If a tree fall but nobody is there to hear it ...) While we are at it does it coreunt that Nate started it first?

It just brings to light that players come into the garden now, and really just punk these dudes.

Now they dont even hide how much they enjoy spanking this squad.

Like I said earlier when your coach call you soft, then that's that.

Nate,is and always will be a jackass.
tkf @ 1/13/2013 1:21 AM
how about being a sport about it.. if you are going to celebrate then be prepared to take a little gamesmanship mocking.. sort of an "right back at ya".. and that is cool.. honestly, I wish he just hadn't gone there... when the so called Leader of your team displays little poise and takes bait easily, guys like novak and others just may follow.... which is why good leadership is so important..

Was waiting for this to fall back on Melo somehow...Wow!

There are several posters who don't know what that is- everything- EVERYTHING is just material to use to criticize the Knicks and our our players.

So true Smackdogg...

So true, bad examples seep into the rest if the team, it all trickles down

You're right- Novaks comments conclusively prove that Melo is evil and responsible for everything that's wrong with this team. Also have you noticed we've had a lot of injuries since the Melo trade? It's pretty clear Melo is behind it- I suspect he is using a combination of injury inducing chemicals, and telekinesis to cause other players to get injured, so it frees up more shots for him.

Melo caused Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy, by systematically increasing carbon emissions using secret machines.

Melo caused Ewing to want to be traded by visiting him as a child and setting a bad example with his attitude.

Melo phones opposing teams days in advance of us playing them and tells them what our strategy will be.

Melo ruined the Lakers season, by giving advice to Dwight, Gasol and Kobe, about how to get D'Antoni fired again.

Melo suggested adding the color black to the Knick uniforms back in the late 90s.

Melo planted a computer chip into the necks of Knick players, and activated them via a remote control, that caused them to leave the bench in the 1997 playoff series against Miami.

Melo tells the team in the pre game huddle to ignore everything they talked about regarding defense, and to "take it easy" during the first quarter.

Melo broke Feltons hands with a hammer because he was taking shots away from him, and forced the teams PR to cover it up by claiming he injured them during games.

From tkf/dk7th ,did anyone expect any other kind of response?

All the fuss over the FALL GUY ?

Ray Allen's face ...Priceless !

MaTT4281 @ 1/13/2013 12:23 PM
Met up with an old college roommate Friday and couldn't watch the Chicago game.

But that post game was hilarious. Nice to have a player with some wit and personality. We're complaining about our team's maturity in a conversation involving Nate Robinson? The guy dubbed himself "Donkey" from Shrek. He's a self-proclaimed ass.

MDA was an @ss for pushing out of NYC. When we were bad is was one the bright spots, or reasons why I would what games when the team was bad. The Kidd has a lot of ability.

I don't know if he being passive, but it seems like guys are passing him up when he has open looks for their own stupid shots. Particularly JR Smith.

Mray20 wrote:That was a hilarious response I love it, Nate is a fool no reason for him to do the double check and try to mock Steve at all, Novak just does it cause he's a Packers fan.

And Cruz only does the salsa because he is half Puerto Rican. If you are celebrating anything in game, then it is a sign of showing up your opponent.

StarksEwing1 @ 1/13/2013 12:57 PM
Novak should be more concerned with his awful shooting this year. The second he got paid he lost his shooting touch. He has had only a handful of good games
OldFan @ 1/13/2013 12:58 PM
I thought what Nate did was fine.

I thought Novak's response was hilarious.

I watch sports because it's entertaining - and that was entertaining.

+1. I like watching teams with some bad blood between them.

you really do try to spin everything you can in a way that puts a bad light on Melo. It's like your obsessed or something.
