maybe he was thinking nash and amare back together under d'antoni. :)
And with Dantoni as your coach and in desperate need of a PG for 4yrs!!!!!!
We talking 2009 draft??? Yep, nobody depressed here.........
Jrue Holiday
Brandon Jennings
Ty Lawson
Those guys would have been thrown in with a trade or never allowed to develop here.

Yeah, that's what I seek solace in- even if we had drafted Jrue or Ty (don't like Jennings), we'd never have let them develop- would have ended up getting traded in some sort of starphuck.

They would have went in the Melo trade

Yes they would of been traded but maybe they wouldnt of had to give up an extra draft choice or another player in the trade. Im pretty sure everyone hated the Jordan Hill pick. Ive hated alot of Knicks picks. The only 1 i was wrong about was Shumpert who was much better than I thought he would be.

He had Lebron on his mind.
MInd you others those guys fall also.
He was thinking of drafting a senior who could be NBA ready. Those guys were not. Guns, you really want do the "hindsight Draft Lament" thing? You'd have to draft a player and develop him. Holiday needed time, Jennings would have been crushed in the NY media for his inconsistant play and Ty was always gettng hurt.
Im with you but we don't draft players and keep them too often.
Can't blame you for being upset about Holiday and Lawson but not Jennings. We were just getting through the Marbury era and Jennings was acting like the jr. version before the draft. I can't blame Donnie for not wanting to go that route. I didn't get the Jordan Hill pick either since we had someone on the team at the time who pretty much had the same skill set in Chris Wilcox. Didn't seem like much thought went into it.

a few gm's passed on lawson, he surprised even me... I was never that big a fan of jennings.. Jrue Holliday walsh liked, but he was so young.. doesn't matter this organization doesn't have patience.. Jrue would have been traded in another starphuch deal anyway....

And Shumpert almost got traded to the Suns last offseason, lucky for us, the Lakers saved us on this one.
It is really hard to root for this organization. What a joke

That was a bullet dodged. Nash is done.

Seriously. Nash isn't getting any heat for the Lakers problems. He finally looks his age.

It would probably be entertaining to watch the Sombers be the vocal Homer contingent on those other team's boards.
