She calls a handful of local recruiters and asks her question. A couple of them have quite the difficulty.

Ha they were scrambling pretty good

It's amazing that we have the funds to actually pay people to answer the phone and spend time talking to the functionally illiterate.
My question would be, does SHE know what our country's foreign policy is, or does she just swallow the Huffington Post every morning? Does she think we should recruit people who don't make their own bed? Does she think we should recruit people who probably have mommy and daddy pay for their own dataplan?
Soldiers and the rest of the military are not recruited to form opinions on foreign policy and whether or not they like the Commander in Chief. You see, young men and women who join the military might just understand that they are signing up to be under authority, and some rather severe authority at that. Discipline, and answering to authority that doesn't take (or ask) for your vote first probably doesn't rank high on blondie's list of priorities.
"Soldier, we need to take out the insurgents in that town" "Sarge, I'd much rather discuss the issues at hand, and review the latest Congressional Record on this engagement..."
I'll take Snarky, Victim mentality, Self-absorbed & Entitled for 500 Alex.

Nobody should join the military if the military is willing to go to war under false pretense or greed from corporate America.

Wow, in the off-topic section we actually agree more

I agree - though young men tend to be eager for valor and glory and buy into false pretense and greed disguised as 'patriotism'

everyone is against our military,
yet they do not realize that it is much better to be on the winning side than the losing side, and they enjoy the good life that our troops ensure (doesn't matter what they want to call it--- the reality is that dollar printing machines are upheld only by our guns),

Not everyone; liberals are always against the military, for good reason: the military are normally a more conservative than liberal voting block. Even when the liberals report the poll results, they're at least 10 points behind.
These walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You, Mr. POTUS? You, Mr. Clinton? You, Mrs. ex-Secretary of State future Mrs. POTUS?

Seems MR. Obama is more aligned with the foriegn policy that was in existance before he was elected than what most liberals thought wouild change.
Hard right that wants to nail Obama on everything keeps coming up empty.
Seems to me 99% of all wars are economically based and the pawns are sacrificed for the greed of the few.
