Knicks · Game Thread: Knicks vs Kings SAT 7:30 @MSG...3-0 In My Game Threads!!! (page 10)

Melo's 20 point game streak is coming to an end.

Mike Woodson has managed the return of Amare brilliantly

By weaving him into games in an unpredictable role, Amare has gained additional respect from his teammates and the Madison Square Garden crowd.

"The Knicks are back!"

This thread is quiet because it's Saturday night and we're playing the Kings. Only crazy people would give up their weekend to watch this game.

Tell that to a sold out Madison Square Garden...

And as I'm typing, Melo drains a 3!

why arent you at msg. The nut house wouldnt give you the night off haha just kidding

Well I've lived in Florida for quite some time now. But I've always ordered the MSG network and NBA season pass in order to feel like I'm still in New York City. But yea, we might win this game by 50!!! Up 42 right now

Btw, who here thinks Melo's keeping his streak alive and who thinks it's coming to an end tonight?

Me personaly I think he'll get it unless it's a blowout, it's just that I don't know how the 2nd half turns out, I honestly don't expect us to beat them by 23 in the 2nd as well

I think he'll get 20 tonight (only 2 as of right now) but in the long run? It's not important. Melo's already shown his scoring worth. Tonight he's showing his passing worth with 5 assists in which 4 have resulted in 3's.

Only thing I care about in regards to Melo is our Knicks going 27-11 during games in which Melo has played!

Oh make no mistake, a win is the most important thing.
Although I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish he'd keep it going, which is not going to happen unfortunately.

Call me crazy, but STAT to me is looking just as good, if not better, than 2010 STAT (obviously less dependent on him these days).
GodSaveTheKnicks @ 2/2/2013 9:19 PM
guess JR is out of his shooting slump

Chandler with consecutive games of 20 boards off the glass and J.R Smith is in a zone!

J.R Smith is taking home the NBA's 6th Man of the Year here in 2012-2013.

Kurt!
GustavBahler @ 2/2/2013 9:20 PM
JR and Stat both lighting it up off the bench, adds another dimension to this squad.

If Miami loses tomorrow night against @ Toronto? The Eastern Conference then becomes coach Woodson's team. I will be pulling for Toronto as if they're the Knicks tomorrow night.

Stat continues to beast

Without question MaTT. 9/9, 19 points and 6 boards off the glass? Simply amazing to see Stoudemire perform like this. And it's not about his production either, it's how explosive he looks down low. How smooth his game appears to the eye. He's back and maybe stronger than ever.

He looks far better than 2010 STAT and is not reliant on PnR to score any longer. Defense is ok. He is hitting boards. He has good game on low post.

Which only leaves Rasheed and Camby. And then our Knicks are 100% complete as a team.

Games where Woodson can rest his starters are a blessing.

The fourth quarter play should stay crisp. No matter who plays.

OGkush121 @ 2/2/2013 9:24 PM
Since the 18-6 start we have outscored the Kings 91-34 and we've still got a quarter to play

All-Star weekend could be dominated by Knicks and very fun for our fan base.

Melo and Chandler for the East while all 3 of Novak (3 PT) and J.R Smith/White (dunk contest) have invites.
