Damn right! But yet Knick fans (in this thread) started to harp all over our Knicks during the first quarter due to "5 or 6 minutes" as if they haven't SEEN what our Knicks are about here in 2012-2013! As if we aren't full of nothing but heart, pride and winning basketball!
You're harping on the comments of other posters. Lighten up this is a game thread.
Smith has really turned around this game with his d on Evans.
2nd Qtr 9:43

we just did.

Yea, right. As if we didn't just out score SAC by the score of 25-22 during the first quarter.
NOVAK with a TREY! Knicks up by 11 points with a STRONG 2nd quarter thus far (8-0).
I get a KICK out of Knick fans crying over the "first quarter" only 4-6 minutes into it.
NOVAK with another TREY! ala the man who ranks 3rd amongst all NBA players in 3PT% after ranking 1st last season!
This seems to be a pattern, these poor starts
I would like to thank Smart for calling that time out in the 1st.

Agree. When your team starts off a game down 15 points, you're allowed to be unhappy about it.

I like how we stayed focused on our game plan tho and now we lead by 14, thats like a 24 point turnaround

I don't think that was the start that any of the players or the coaching staff wanted. I don't think any of them would call it a good start to the game.

Some say it's being "lazy" but I see it differently. I see it as opposing teams being pumped the fk up heading into our Knick games but once the Knicks feel these guys out during the first quarter? We then dominate the remaining three quarters and especially the 2nd half.
It's not about how you start during the first quarter, but how you adjust and how you finish games. The Knicks may not come out guns blazing, but when it's all said and done with? We adjust and win the games.
This is such a lame answer.
We're winning games based on talent alone recently, not because we are playing well.
And you know what? I stand by what I stated. I knew (and know) what our Knicks team is all about.
Like I stated, the first quarter is a moot point because it's all about how you adjust during games.
And now look, we're up 14 points only 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter. Have outscored SAC during the 2nd quarter by the count of 11-0.
I know my Knicks, it's sad that others don't due to a "first quarter".
Lawd Ha mercy
Did he say a 30-4 run?
32-4
2nd Qtr 8:22

You gotta stop taking things so personally. When the Knicks are playing good we are all happy but when we are dragging ass we are critical. We arent critical because we hate the knicks we are critical because we LOVE the Knicks and want them to do well
Can't begin to describe how refreshing it is to see STAT doing well again
Amar'e looks so dominant out there!

Yea, right, as if 3.5 minutes into the 2nd quarter isn't considered a start to a game.
We've outscored these guys by the count of like 36-4 dating back to the first quarter.
Already up 16 points while outscoring SAC by the count of 13-0 here in the 2nd quarter.
ONE HELL OF A START!!!!
