My perception is that the game thread is for people to say what they would say to each other if they were next to each other on a couch or at a bar. I can't say I've ever sat next to someone doing play by play.

If you want to type a description of everything happening on the screen, then go for it.

Just be aware it makes it harder to keep up with what everyone else on the thread is saying.

I split League Pass broadband with someone. Kind of annoying that TNT and other national games are blacked out. Even NBATV..which seems so weird to me because doesn't the NBA own both NBATV and LeaguePass? Guess it must be the cable providers not being down with it.

I'll take a fast start with great defense/great ball movement leading to a big lead, even if the play gets a little sluggish in the second half, over those bad first halves we've sat through any day of the week.

b) trying to get certain units used to playing together?

I'm thinking maybe he's trying to give Melo/Chandler/STAT plenty of time before the playoffs to get used to playing all at the same time.

At this pace he'll lead the league in boards before we know it...
