I am still in disbelief that Amare just stood there guarding no one while Wall took 3 seconds to load up for what was basically a free throw. WTF

Magic is the one who suggested we hire Isiah Thomas

He never saw Isiah in that role before, he saw Melo more than enough to make a call.

So both guys get it ahead of Lebron?

no, just edited my post to try to say that. I wouldn't forget about LBJ in the MVP discussion.
But it says something when a guy like Magic Johnson tells us Melo's one of his MVP favorites.
Like it or not, he's there for a reason.

Barkley and stephen a. say it too. Doesn't mean jack

So let me get this straight. An NBA legend (and he's not the only one who said it) and NBA analysts all said Melo's rightfuly in the MVP discussion, but since you don't agree with it it doesn't mean anything?

Can't talk basketball with clueless fans OGK....

You honestly think there is any chance Magic isn't going to say Melo isn't a candidate on a MSG broadcast to fans in New York?

NYKMentality @ 2/6/2013 9:11 PM
On the box score it reads only 3 assists from Melo, but he's passed the ball amazing tonight. We've sent 4 shooters to the FT line off Melo passes inside.
yellowboy90 @ 2/6/2013 9:12 PM
Melo's passing is definitely keeping the Knicks in the game.

Funny I feel the same about you

StarksEwing1 @ 2/6/2013 9:12 PM
oh now you bring shumpert in lol
GodSaveTheKnicks @ 2/6/2013 9:12 PM
JR back to taking bad shots
Amare back to looking absolutely clueless and lazy on defense

At least Melo didn't regress tonight

3G4G @ 2/6/2013 9:13 PM
Melo's been somewhat zero sum considering Airza's impact on this game.
SupremeCommander @ 2/6/2013 9:13 PM
as for the the (rightful) Melo is an MVP discussion - Kobe Bryant basically said that Melo should do what he do and not pay attention to the critics... I'm going to adopt The Black Mamba's advice because (1) he has forgotten more about basketball than I'll ever know and (2) martin and Andrew will delete my posts if I argue with anyone

win of the year for the wiz...tough (probable) loss for an overly complacent team on a streak...

5th divisonal leader they beat this year.

Did we lose or get beaten?

PresIke @ 2/6/2013 9:15 PM
you really can't read too much into this...but it is not a (probable) loss that one should accept as okay either
NYKMentality @ 2/6/2013 9:15 PM
Ok, so we lost the game. Not a big deal. Doesn't change the fact that we've gone 5-1 during our last 6 games.
matt @ 2/6/2013 9:15 PM
God damnit
nycisgreat @ 2/6/2013 9:15 PM
Coaching bad, offense bad and the team was lazy on defense.
MSG3 @ 2/6/2013 9:16 PM
Bad bad D tonight.
