Knicks · Lebron on Steroids? (page 1)

gunsnewing @ 2/13/2013 12:05 AM
Think I'm really onto something here. Miami is a hot bed for steroid/HGH/Deer Antler labs. The Heat are sleazy and smug enough to cheat to win. Going to be interesting next year when the NBA finally starts testing for performance enhancing drugs.

Lebron is not human

arkrud @ 2/13/2013 12:23 AM
Yep. He is LeBron.
Humans are shot and small spicies who will be exstinct and only Lebronians and Duratusians will populate the Earth
tj23 @ 2/13/2013 12:51 AM
Anything is possible. I wanna see some bum get caught roiding. Like this guy is on the juice and he's only the 12tg man? Lol
NYKMentality @ 2/13/2013 1:29 AM
We may never know. If LeBron is on steroids (which I personally doubt, he's just born with an amazing athletic form), but if he is using? He won't use once the NBA starts to test. He won't risk losing his legacy. He's seen what happened to the likes of Bonds, Sosa etc, etc.
yellowboy90 @ 2/13/2013 5:21 AM
I don't think so but I made a comment a few weeks ago how you never hear about PEDs associated with BBallers. Which seems odd to me when ever other sport almost has some kind of link. I guess golf and tennis/sans Sing. Although, people did think Tiger was on steroids but he just worked out when Golfers didn't really train as much. IMO.

However, if he is using he is not the only one. The reason why I think this is because BBall is an endurance sport and most PEDs now a days are to help athletes recover. Also, I wonder how many take adderall to help them stay alert.

IronWillGiroud @ 2/13/2013 6:28 AM
Every professional league in the country is on drugs. Probably all over the world.

Schedules are demanding, guys take stuff to recover more than stuff that will get them jacked up. It's really no big deal, you couldn't take the same stuff and play in the NBA tomorrow, so you have to have an impressive baseline to begin with.

They can't go after players in the NBA without implicating the entire league and brand, so they focus on individual sports to make an example.

Adderall is in the dust bins of history (not really because speed is cheap and effective)

I wonder how many are on Modafinil, like Diana Taurausi in Turkey.

I've played basketball on Adrafinil, which is, basically, the older version of Modafinil (Adrafinil turns into Modafinil in the body, but at a greater cost to your system), and it's amazing. I'm much more aggressive and 'with it' on the court, you don't lose the flow. I'm sure someone has to be on Modafinil at some point in pro sports, it doesn't even raise heart rate or blood pressure like amphetamines do and there is no 'high' feeling.

is weed performance enhancing? Bet more NBA dudes are on that then the juice. Getting juiced for a rec league? Really? I thought pitching on 5 ibuprofen was pushing it. Dude, you only get one life

Taking adrafanil before a rec league game is not juicing, it's harmless and it adds more fun to the game. We won 57-56 on Monday,

weed is not performance enhancing

I'd say use the ibuprofen if you have a chance to make it to the bigs, get a $30 million contract, or reset the history records

short of any professional goal, using performance enhancers is silly as the cost is way too high. As you said, only one life to live

You can tell the guys on the weed, they're guys like melo,

no way jordan or lebron ever smoked weed, maybe they've done it a handful of times, but they're not stoners like a lot of other players

I'm sorry, but I'm getting tired of this. How long is this going to tolerated? Especially coming from a guy such as...

You should start your own website: "UltimateMelo.com" and moderate to you liking.

YOu need not defend Melo at every turn. His play does his talking for him. He has become a big celeb and thus will be made fun of.

Just like all the big stars of music, film, and politics.

Anything is possible, but I still counter with this? Who cares?

I'm so incredibly tired of the steroids witch hunt. People focus on it in baseball because there's some theory/myth that a guy who hits 15 home runs suddenly hits 70 home runs on steroids. There's a myth that a .200 hitter becomes a .350 hitter. It helps, but the media makes the benefit sound like players who are not MLB quality become mega-stars. Not true.

Same with the Lance Armstrong witchhunt, although he also took people down on his way, so I can understand that a bit more.

In NFL, NBA, nobody cares and nobody makes a big deal about it. Why? Well, I guess nobody thinks steroids makes you hit a three pointer. Weird world we live in.

At this point, the testing is there in most of the sports; if the guys are doing it, they will get caught. Enough with guessing who is juicing and who isn't. Who cares?

JamesLin @ 2/13/2013 8:47 AM
We'll know next year. It's just discouraging how any athletic superstars can be suspected of doping now. We've seen so many superstars like Sosa, Bond, McGwire, Canseco, Lance Armstrong, etc. all made fans start doubting current superstars. Frankly, I won't be surprised if LeBron uses it too, or even Michael Jordan back in the days. But it's obvious why they take such cheating risks. It's all about the money, the sponsorships, the ego trip, the women/men, etc. We just gotta nail every single cheating professional player and make sure they never rise again like Armstrong. One of my friends idolized him growing up and she joined the army because she thought strong disciplinary training will get very far like Armstrong. Well, now she gave up daily training and started drinking heavily like before she joined Army. I'm sure she'll get over it, but what Armstrong did to her, and many other fans, is criminal. I hope next year NBA yanks a few bad seeds out of this league, if any. If LeBron does get tested positive, I hope he never gets to play in the NBA again. If he tests negative, I strongly suggest the government look into his background and Area 51, and see if there's any associated links... :P
yellowboy90 @ 2/13/2013 8:52 AM
Has anyone seen The Doc Bigger faster Stronger? Interesting watch. I wonder why things are considered PEDs and some things are not and why those Peds are not allowed in sports.
