Knicks · THE BIG GAME THREAD: KNICKS PACERS WE DO IT, 2/20/13, 7:00 PM (ET) WE DO IT! (page 9)

Lets list the soon-to-come lame excuses the team will give for yet another sorry performance:

1. THE LACK OF ACTION BECAUSE OF THE ALL STAR GAME.

2.

Papabear Says

Look at Melo and Amear laughing and hiding thier face in thier towels like this is some sort of joke. I will watch Melo's will to win but he can't do it him self. We have a bunch of old men trying to keep up. What is Sheed going to do? Nothing! We won't get out of the first round.

dude. I respect the real fans like you who come to each and every game thread and live and die with this team.

kudos.

Thanks man. I feel the same same about those fans too. Win or Lose I am here. I just can't believe this is what we have going for us after tanking for 4yrs under Walsh and Dantoni and striking out on Lebron. This is what we have after over a Dozen years of being the laughing stock of the league.

I agree with both of you. We waited 12 years of misery for this garbage

Im done giving this team the benefit of the doubt. I gave them a lot of leeway in january but im done. they have to prove it

Woody has to change something in how he has this team prepare. Something is just not right with this team's focus, execution and effort level.

Because during a week off they only practice once. Yesterday! Same thing during the London trip wear they played 1 game in 10 days and came back flat losing 3 in a row

GoNyGoNyGo @ 2/20/2013 8:18 PM
This is a joke. Felton is horrible. Ever since his injury he has sucked.
Melo does not have the killer instinct

Has Woodson lost this team? How do they come
Out this bad after the way they finished last week?

We need a starting PG we can count on game in and game out.

they would be even better served by giving a fuck

They're playing hard for the most part but aren't playing smart.

misdirected wasted energy, without a centering influence from the best player on the team

know what i'm saying?

melo is one of the guys, yea he's cool to be around,

jordan was the man on the court and it didn't matter if he talked to you off the court, when you came to work on jordan's court, you did your work,

with melo, he's buddy buddy so the rest of the team just sort of floats in a haze

The centering influence has to be the PG and we aren't getting that from anyone this game.

yea, in a lot of ways, he needs to be a dedicated player who will play the right way,

but bj armstrong, john paxon? they aren't world beaters, it's just that they well led by a champion in jordan,

it's more about establishing a collective mentality that necessarily has to stem from its best player.

Armstrong was a very good game manager, we aren't getting that right now.

there is administrative management and emotional, or i like to call it spiritual management,

felton has satisfactory skills to manage a game well, but he is not reigned in or checked by anyone,

jordan and phil jackson, popovich and tim duncan, their teams had a framework, a common way of thinking about the game that was shared by every player on the team, and this has to stem from the best player on the court,

In the jordan era, it was hardly about scoring, those bulls played playoff defense every night, like our knicks did.

wasn't all about the pg, it was all about the sg

Or will he say anything at all? A team this unprepared obviously he is not saying or doing much. Especially to the offensive gameplan
