When will teams learn to not play chicken with free agents. Going to be some sad teams this summer.

No one in the east tanked it. There will be no easy first round playoff games.

The Dwight Howard / Lakers situation is gonna get REALLY fun real soon. And, there's no Dr. Buss (God rest his soul) to prevent the Lakers from doing something potentially stupid.

Houston has CAP space now to sign him.
Kobe and Howard cannot co-exist and Kobe has a no trade clause. Lakers going to have problems.

SAS said yesterday that he thinks if Jeanie Buss can gain control D'Antoni will be out and Howard will stay. I heard speculation from another analyst that DAntoni will be gone to keep Howard at the end of the year. Houston is supposed to be angling for Howard.
Sad the Knicks didn't address the poor guard play issues.

Golden State indeed made its two tax-shaving trades before 3 PM deadline: Jeremy Tyler to Atlanta and Charles Jenkins to Philly

BREAKING NEWS: the Utah Jazz trade salt from evaporated tears of Jazz fans for another season of continued mediocrity.

So has the board overall soured on the whole Kidd/Felton/Prigs/JR > Jeremy Lin thing?
I for one say..wait till the end of Lin's contract to really judge. Hopefully we'll have won it all by then with our roster of battle hardened Woodson (and Melo??)approved veteran supporting cast.
I still believe this can happen (no sarcasm intended)

Yes they did....by doing nothing!
Sometimes the best move is no move. Upgrading guard defense is not going to happen by adding JJ Reddick.

Im not high on Lin. Harden is carrying that team. The Lin jock riders keep trying to prop him up though. I already knew Harden was a beast though.
Felton at 4 million is very tradeable. So im not worried about him. It's the other guys combined with JR's looming free agency.

Felton and Lin are performing at very similar levels if you take their entire season into account. Lin makes 2X as much.
I'll ask you again in 3 years what you thought about the decision to let him go. Till then any conclusions are based on very incomplete information.
the JR Smith that was defending well, rebounding like a beast, hitting buzzer beating game winners and shoot lights out. That's a guy I'd be sad to see go. Ditto early season Kidd.
crossover, stepback fadeaway, poor defending, knucklehead JR. That guy's I wouldn't miss. Kidd and Camby could be terrible signings by the end of their contracts even though I love what they're about as players. Maybe they shoulda retired this offseason..
can someone explain the redick deal to me. It just seems like a poor move.
I guess Milwaukee is not resigning Jennings. Ellis or Redick before PG next year or they bring in a true PG?

No one can, it makes no sense.
