Knicks · Why do you watch the knicks ? (page 1)

yellowboy90 @ 3/5/2013 6:53 AM
to see them win games.
gunsnewing @ 3/5/2013 7:21 AM
I voted Iman but I like Amares personality and the way he conducts himself. Now hopefully he can give the same effort defensively as last night. Tyson snatches up all the rebounds so I dont mind the low reb totals from Amare just give that same effort on D. Weakside shotblocking and closing out on the perimeter.

I voted Iman because he is a throwback player. Been my favorite knick since he said in his first interview after being drafted that he takes shutting down guys seriously

Why do I watch? Its not a game, its a ritual by which we worship and in return we get food, water and protection from the Pharoah.

Because they still wear blue and orange and the name on the FRONT of the Jersey still spells-out NEW YORK. I'm more concerned about the name on the front of the the jersey rather than the names on the back of the jersey. But, hey thats just me....
callmened @ 3/5/2013 7:49 AM
To see them win games

To find something to fault Melo for and visually envision Lin running up and down the court next to Chandler and STAT

It's the only channel that comes in clearly in my imagination.

98.7 FM!

I watch because just when you think all hope is lost and opposing fans are celebrating our demise, they fight back and make a crazy run.

Or a last second shot hits off the front of the rim, off the backboard... and in.

Old baaaaaad habit. Started to watch Knicks games since 4 years old, no thanks to my uncle who got me into being a fan. Still watching because I probably am a masochist and just don't know it.
markvmc @ 3/5/2013 10:05 AM
Mostly so as I can post negative posts after losses.
smackeddog @ 3/5/2013 10:47 AM
Because I'm a big Jeremy Lin fan, and feel that by watching Knick games, I can then participate on the Knick fan boards talking endlessly about Jeremy Lin leaving almost a year ago.

I just really want to see Melo singlehandedly destroy this franchise. In living color.

And I secretly want to see Gallo sitting on the sidelines someday, showing Melo his ring.

K22 @ 3/5/2013 11:47 AM
I can't. I have DISH so I can only watch them on ESPN and TNT.

lol oh man...

I watch the knicks because I have been rooting for them since 1989 since the Buffalo Braves left WNY, and I bleed orange blue & white.

My favorite player is Shumpert and Prigioni, one is learning how to play and has all the tools and the other plays the right way and brings that culture to the current team.

Travla @ 3/5/2013 8:41 PM
Just a hardcore fan since 70/71, I'll even watch when I'm travelling if possible.
gunsnewing @ 3/5/2013 8:45 PM
I watch because there's nothing good on the tv

Actually, then I like to make negative posts about negative posters.

Two negatives actually equal a positive!
