DO realize that nothing good come from the players you want to start? Poor Cope is a consistent DNP and STAT is well you know. As Ditka would say STop it!
Knicksfan @ 3/9/2013 8:48 PM
Right now Im not that worried about who starts, but ho many able players we have. I think this team would be really irresponsible if they don't waive one or a few of the DNP players or Rasheed to get players that can actually play.

I never once said Copeland should start. I said he will never start because he is a turnover machibe, doesn't defend or rebound. If he is not scoring he negatively impacts the game

Bonn1997 @ 3/9/2013 10:20 PM
He should start. He's our best forward right now.
gunsnewing @ 3/9/2013 10:25 PM
Knowing Woodson he'll start Kurt for 2mins then take him out after we are down 7-0
Bonn1997 @ 3/9/2013 10:35 PM
Yeah, LOL. For some reason he plays are bench more mpg than the starters. I've never heard of that before.
Papabear @ 3/10/2013 4:05 AM
Papabear Says

From what I seen tonight Novak can be real great.

yellowboy90 @ 3/10/2013 6:43 AM
I'd rather start Kenyon than Novak or Tyson. Give Tyson another talker and ease some pressure off of him. However I guess that still leaves the possibility of starting Novak at the 3 instead of White. Play the 3 on O and the 4 on D. Give him the weakest offensive player. This keeps the floor spread on O and gives Martin room to Cut or shoot his off and on jumper(have not seen it on yet but its early). On D you have a 2 1/2 good defenders with Shump rounding into form, one o.k. guy, and novak.

It makes sense to me but Thomas and White will continue to start until Melo comes back.

gunsnewing @ 3/10/2013 6:51 AM
In order to succeed with only melo as your consistent scoring option you will have to surround him with a shooter. Knicks wont hit 3S At the same ridiculous pace they were in November. Felton and Shumpert are not good shooters. Certainly Tyson and Kmart arent either.

Start Novak. The dish outs he will receive from Melo and Amare will be a thing of beauty. You can tell Novak is playing harder on both ends and being more assertive. He needs to be. Hes also hitting the 3 at a better clip the past 2 weeks

Bonn1997 @ 3/10/2013 8:57 AM
Melo's a consistent scorer? He has way too many 8 for 28 type games.
gunsnewing @ 3/10/2013 9:18 AM
Rephrase that. Someone who defenses game plan for. Melo is going to do well now without Amare. The team is built to cater to him and win him a scoring title

28 pts per reads consistent scorer. 8-28 nights reads inconsistent shooter....

Bonn1997 @ 3/10/2013 9:42 AM
Well that changes everything
Silverfuel @ 3/10/2013 9:50 AM
Stop with your knee-jerk posts bro. Novak is completely useless when we are playing a slightly decent defensive team.
gunsnewing @ 3/10/2013 10:59 AM
Who do you prefer kmart. We need another scorer/shooter with Melo
smackeddog @ 3/10/2013 11:30 AM
Thankfully in 2 years we can let Amar'e, Melo and Tyson expire, and start rebuilding the team around future MVP Novak.
SupremeCommander @ 3/10/2013 7:28 PM
after the hex you put on Amar'e, you now feel compelled to do this???
GustavBahler @ 3/10/2013 7:31 PM
From the poster who brought you "Start Stat...." If it was hard for Novak to get goods look before, it might be even harder if he starts. I'd like to see him fully out of his slump before Woodson makes that call.
callmened @ 3/10/2013 7:35 PM
Novak is awful at defense even worse than amare. He shouldnt start. Besides its more importnt who finishes
3G4G @ 3/10/2013 7:38 PM
Novak is "not that good" 1 trick pony....a mirage, still overpaid
