although melo jacked up way too many shots as usual he did hit a couple of big shots in the last 6 minutes. jr smith stunk it up with a jackfest as well. same with felton-- new jack city.

He better make it worthwhile. If he shoots 4-15 and we lose by 30 again, this decision will seem ridiculous.
I know what you guys are thinking, "if Melo don't play and we lose we have a good reason and its cool", if he plays and we lose its gonna look bad, like maybe we won the battle (the trade) but are losing the war?
Melo has his own docters and im thinking he will check to make sure he can't further the injury with some reasonable %.
Also, he has been playing with it, including the all star game.

Note on Knuggs: They are elite at home. They built a team that can run and take advantage of their altitude advantage. Its not a slam on Melo, its just what it is. If they can get some of that on the road they can do damage.

Won't be able to watch this one until late tomorrow- nothing annoys me more than when I spend all day avoiding the temptation to look at the score, only to watch the game and it be a loss. We're not in good shape and they're on a roll but we've seen some gritty wins this season so hopefully we'll step up and find a way to win.

Agree. Melo is huge when he comes back to 'Cuse. When Coleman played for the Nets they scheduled an exhibition game there to bring him back and he didn't even play (he chose not to).Also, if I am a Nuggets fan in Denver this is one of the games I get tickets for to see Melo and this matchup.
I am with Nalod. If he can play and the doctors OK it, he should. I want the win. If he plays like did last game - well that was completely useless.

I say Melo's got guts and wants to tough it out, even with a bad knee. Many players would just sit it out. Dare I say Jeremy Lin last year. Even though I like Lin, Melo is tougher.
wizards account for 1 of those denver home loses. maybe things line up tonight for the knicks.

all of those things wont help his knee get better if he is indeed hoping to use rest vs a more rapid draining of his knee. for all the talk of the loses (bad/blow outs/close/etc) being just 1 game, he should look at this one the same and rest. there is still time to ensure the 2 seed if he doesnt play tonight.
The 1st few minutes, the body language you can tell if the knicks came to play.
