It was, plus the way the commentators completely go along with it like there's nothing wrong with any of the calls. That's why I think the Lakers are more likely to make it to the playoffs than Dallas or the Jazz- I just think if there are any close games, the ref's will try and get the Lakers the win.

Lebron lost two finals prior, if the league really wanted him as champ could they not have figured it out?

Jordan got looked at by any player he went to the line. Did it help? Of course, and thats why you have to be even that much better to beat the champs!

For me, I have no idea whether Doherty was lying or not, but putting that aside, if you watched that lakers/Kings 2002 playoff series (and I remember I was rooting for the Kings), I don't see how anyone could deny the game is rigged:

I think stars get better treatment. Its been that way for generations so Lebron, or Jordan, or anyone before gets it. They protect stars and promote them.

Stern has been a disgrace for an eternity it seems like. lol @ Stu Lantz during those situations at the end of that game....

It was also Stern's way of saying to Sacramento.....

"I'm screwing you again because you won't even exist as a franchise anymore and/or because your city is making the selling of this franchise miserable for me as I try to bring in more irresponsible and reckless ownership!"

How about Mark Cuban fined 250,000,000 for telling stern to his face the game is rigged.

Also ya boy Jeff Vandummy fined 100,000 for giving info on what an official told him about his star player.

I've said this on several occasions this year...."you are not beating the Heat if the game is within a couple possessions"..... whether they are down or up. It won't matter.

You literally have to blow them out(we have during the regular season...playoffs different story though) and wish the best for whatever team can accomplish this 4 games out of 7.

For example I don't believe Dounaghy as credible but do believe the league has pushed some teams over others. How they do it I don't know. I don't think they get caught either.

And its not just the NBA, its the way of the world. Boxing was always very clear, if you want to win you gotta beat the champ good. A split decision will go the way of the champ.

Its not 100%, if a team is just that good they will prevail. Ewings knicks were at times better than Bulls but were not good enough to deliver a knock out punch. Jordan want to the line and Charles Smith got Mugged.

We entered teh war to get repaid, and reshape the ecnomomics of a post war world in our favor. We had only hoped Hitler would have done more damage to soviet russia before we got in.

Follow the money.

Refs can encourange an outcome but not always change it.
