I think most of those teams will turn out like the Philly team and trade away there talent. Also, John Henson had 17 & 25 rebs for the bucks off the bench.

I wonder if philly would let Turner go. If they keep Bynum they will need a sniper. However I don't like trading inside the division.

Detroit too

Yeah they could be but I question the chemistry of their young talent. Love Drummond though

LMAO. Every young team is praying their guys turn into difference makers. Wishful thinking for most teams.

Gallinari, Chandler, etc. Been there don't that.

I hate to break it to you but Cahndler was the main reason the Nuggets beat the Spurs last night. There are very good players beyond Kobe Lebron and Carmelo.

1 game out of 82.

Wilson Chandler was great here. I liked what he brought to the team but it doesnt change the fact he is always injured. He cant help the team when he is on the inactive list.

Hopefully Orlando can grab someone like Smart then suck one more year and land Wiggins or Parker. They have great young pieces but need and deserve a franchise talent. I like what they are doing though. They know exactly how to rebuild the right way. I was wrong, as was everyone else, about the pieces they got for Dwight. It looked like a terrible deal at the time.

Thats funny because hes exactly who I thought would fit them well.

Tanking doesn't put fans in seats. You can't tank year after year.

Yeah it should be a PG. Nelson can either mentor him or they can try to get a little bit of value from him in a trade. Not sure what his value would be, but Smart, and to a lesser extent Burke, would be nice long term fits there. Then they land a star wing next year and they will have had a successful 2-3 year rebuild.

Maybe not in New York, but a team like Orlando can plan to tank a couple years in a row as long as there is a plan, which there absolutely is. This year they can get a good PG, next year a star wing.

I remember the debate here a few months ago about whether the Magic were right to dump contracts and do a complete rebuild and risk losing fans. If they had gone the other way it would have been a first round exit team at best. They made the right move.

Very few teams have been able to reload the way the Magic have since pretty much day one. Need to do a better job at what comes after.

They made the right moves, starting with the GM and coach they hired, who obviously allign with the young, rebuild pattern. That GM has a nice eye for talent and learned from the OKC group, and now is in the perfect, low risk situation. Adding a guy like Brooke Lopez was not the answer, so this was a great trade for them to restart the franchise. It's just going to take a few years.

Killa4luv @ 4/11/2013 10:11 PM
Orlando could've traded Dwight for Brook plus like 5 picks. They would be good right now had they done that.
