When melo plays great people are mad that he doesnt get enough credit and when he plays poorly he gets too much blame lol. Look i like melo and i have defended him but he has really huurt us the past 2 games. JR smith hurt us 2 games as well. First he gets suspended and then he pulls a john starks tonight
Yeah Melos a sensitive subject obviously but it'd be hard to defend him here. He was pretty much a no show for 2 games. He gets the credit when we win, so he has to get some blame when we lose.
Its not so much defending his performance but defending this notion that its all on him. Melo didn't get ejected and suspended. Melo didn't hand the Celtics bulletin board material, he didn't shoot nothing but blanks until the game was out of reach. We need some perspective here.
Yeah he's sucked the last 2 games, he has to take his licks but don't leave out the rest of the team.
The thing is though that very little people were blaming the whole thing on Melo. Maybe 2 people put it all on him. Most of us simply mentioned his poor play and now we're "blaming" him?

Yeah blame felton who has been our best player. melo doesnt have to shoot every possession. when 3 guys are on him that means he has a few wide open guys

Me too, Melo definitely could have done better.
My gut said Celtics in 6 but I believe Knicks can get it done....
Melo has to shoot better than 42 PACENT and he has to do more or other things than shooting the basketball. Make no mistake about it, this series is a series now because of J.R. Smith's immaturity..
We said early on in the season "MAYBE THEY'LL LEARN" and we're still waiting.
Well the good news is that it cant get any worse. All we need is for JR and melo to have decent games in gam 6. im not asking them to be terrific but if they both play decent we should win. Lets be honest the reason the Celtics won these 2 games is because melo is playing his worst ball of the season and jr is playing like an idiot
This is what upsets me about Melo. He doesn't make the team around him better. If he's off, he's pretty much useless

To be fair to Felton, he has been used as a SG with PG handle more than a starting PG. He has actually been a bright spot for us

Game 3: 12-25
Boston had a hard time scoring the first 3 games and now they have found their stroke.

Tonight was his worst game as knicks coach. As much as i hate doc river he made adjustment after going down 11-0 and wooodson made no adjustments. He left jr in too long and didnt use pablo much

They did a good job of zeroing in on Kidd. He wasn't able to get one good look from 3, didn't even take one 3pt shot. That has to change. Kmart had 2pts and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes. Chandler did better but his defense was porous.

Woodson surely didn't look like a playoff coach with the Hawks, but I will give him some slack with us. He is innocent until proven guilty.
Woodson cursed himself by getting this team to the 2nd seed in the East.
Team is heavily reliant on Melo playing insane and the 3 ball falling to win. Live by the 3 die by the 3. This is nothing new.
