Wasn't he mainly talking to Felton?

Starts with Melo first and Ray defended him

Teamball, when I saw prig do that. I flew out of my seat. The guy is absolutely nuts.

Later Pablo forced a three with someone in his face when Novak was open right next to him. Guess he left his high Bball IQ at home tonight.

I was already half way out of my seat ready cheer when Pablo completely killed it for me. I love him but I hate him sometimes.

THAT had me scratching my head.. LOL

i hope melo uses that for motivation. he really needs a big game after these past 2 disasters

Papabear Says
The whole Knicks team aught to look at that over and over again. You would think that they won the series.
I hope Anthony doesn't use this for motivation. Didn't work so well last time.

Funny...The celts were complaining about the Knicks celebrating during game 3, and now Terry is doing his airplane impersonations, cheesing after every shot, and scrubs are talking s&*% after games?
Papabear wrote:Allanfan20 wrote:AnubisADL wrote:Who is Melo stealing FGAs from?- Chandler doesnt want to shoot
- Shumpert cant shoot
- Prigioni was cold
- JR Smith was cold
- Kidd is cold
I guess Melo should just stop shooting unless he gets a wide open shot.
Shumpert is shooting 40% from 3 and shot 4/7 today. I'll give you the others though. However, when you are the superstar, you have to find a way to make it work. Superstars find a way to carry their team on their back. The Knicks didn't need him to completely carry them this entire series so the fact he couldn't even do it for one quarter is what's dissapointing. He played bad anubis. Plain and simple. I say this and I have been defending him a lot. However, he hasn't been great this entire series. He has to start playing like the star we need.
Papabear SaysWho was going to make shots. The Knicks can't shoot. If you guard Melo and Melo have a bad game you allow for Felton to get his. JR Smith probably had his worst game.
No question this was JR's worst game of the season.

Maybe motivation wasnt the right word. But melo definetly needs to clear his head a little bit. he needs to look over the gametape and realize that they are gonna double team him every time so he needs to find other guys. basucally he needs to trust his gusy more and give himself a better shance to succeed

Felton was defending Melo for Crawford trashing talking.
I dont even care that boston trash talks. Knick deserve it after this performance. I wasnt that mad in game 4 since we were shorthanded and still had oppurtunties to sweep. Today at home there was no excuse to not show up. other than shumpert and felton who has shown up the past 2 games?

Wow that's pathetic from Prigioni. Wonder why he didn't get many minutes?
Games like this make you understand why some don't take us seriously.
This was a complete vanishing act. They are playing like if they should win by default, and they have just woken up a wounded sleeping giant. Wounded because the Celtics are nowhere the powerhouse they once were, yet you couldn't close the deal at home?
Pathetic. Unacceptable performance from an immature team that would rather make stupid guarantees than actually letting their game talk for itself. They played like shumps tonight.
For the many times I've been proud of their play, even in defeat like Game 4, I was really ashamed of them this game and if they become the first team to blow a 3-0 lead, Melo, J.R and the rest of this roster can go _____ themselves.
Yeah, I'm still soooooooo pissed!

If they lose this series Melo and the gang should be run out of town (Felton can stay). I would find it impossible to believe in Melo or the current roster ever again.
If Melo would have made 1 of those free throws at the end of game 4 we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now!
Haven't watched the game yet, but the box score doesn't make me want to...
I said at the start of the series that I expected it to be a close, hard fought 7 game series. Then the first 3 games happened and suddenly I was expecting a sweep. Guess we all got a bit a head of ourselves. Celtics went down to the wire with the Heat last year- they play better than their talent level because a) they get into opponents heads big time- do not start trash talking with them because they will just annoy you to death, & b) the refs let them get away with dirty plays. This also gets into opposing players heads. As our weakness is losing our composure due to trash talking and physical play and refs, it's no wonder we're struggling.
I won't lie, I live in fear we'll be the first team to lose after leading 3-0, but lets see how game 6 goes before sweating it. I will say it feels like ages ago that we were a great offensive team...
I still don't think this Celtics team is strong enough to beat the Knicks. They'd be a western conference lottery team. I'm surprised it's gotten to 6 games.

I just wonder if we're going to beat ourselves. Wow, it's difficult not to be somber right now. Even for a homer.
I wanted a sweep so frickin bad...
If PP starts making with the Reggie choke signs, I'm going to throw my radio off the roof.
This will not be Yankees Red Sox...this will not be Yankees Red Sox....this will not be Yankees Red Sox....
