I hope they turn things around, but I always worried that we were not as good as our record.

stay the course. Its a veteran team built around Melo and JR who are not the strongest of mind.
Season success and playoff failure are two things.
This is a mind phuch for them now. They have to break thru to fulfill any respect.

I will stop posting, will still be a knicks fan but, the level of fandom will severely drop. Meaning to hell with league pass, to hell with message boards and thank goodness I haven't wasted any money on a jersey in 5years.

You made it through all the Isiah and Layden years but won't make it through this? This board is a great social group. It's a great place to share each other's sadness or joys after the season.
And I'm sure Playa will recommend that we get more "go to" scorers like Carmelo.
If they blow this I think Grunwald has do to his due diligence and make a run at Phil Jackson. I've said all season how Woodson does in the playoffs should determine whether or not he comes back. Its not about losing in the first round. Never had an arbitrary round that he has to get to. Its about how he loses. They lose after going up 3-0 is different than a hard fought 7 game series where no one is getting the upper hand. We had the upper hand, all we had to do was to quietly put them away. If he can't keep his team in check, we need to find someone who can.
No way I trade Melo over this. One of the best seasons a Knick ever had. Became a better defender, passer, teammate. J.R should be sent packing if this happens. We are as good as our record when the team plays smart and plays hard and keeps their traps shut. That hasn't happened lately. We do need more help in the paint and another PG who can take it to the rim as well as set up other teammates.

Fair enough. I'd say you just have to learn to appreciate play throughout the league - the diversity of Lebron's skill set. The ridiculous efficiency of Harden and Durant, etc.

What's irrelevant is Denver. Denver is irrelevant. Gallo is irrelevant. Moz is irrelevant. I could say Wilson is irrelevant, but I don't have the ambition required to go look up his impact on their series so far.

Melo is relevant. 3 wins are relevant. Playoffs spent in the uniform is relevant.
