Both teams raced out to 3-0 series leads & both teams have stumbled slightly & now have 3-2 leads, yet the national media have the Knicks portrayed as losers who are probably going to lose their series & the Thunder yet somehow are STILL the fashionable pick to win the West & face the Heat.
Perceptions & the manipulation of facts to fit a pre-built narrative are amazing please dont fall for the okey doke & jump off the cliff with the rest of the lemmings.

Please show us where people think the Thunder are still favored to win the west. By all accounts the media said now the west is wide open.
Can we just have one thread labelled: "The whole world is out to get us" and then put all complaints about media coverage, refs, and whatever else these guys think of there?

I'd hardly call things all peachy out west. I think Houston dug themselves too big a hole by losing the first 3 games, but take away an all-star PG, and OKC is in a dangerous situation right now, against a pain-in-the-neck Houston team.
Harden and Durant cancel each other out. Ibaka and Perkins are neutralized because of the pace that Houston plays - they don't get a chance to play defense.
There isn't THAT big a talent disparity any more.
I think the Knicks are still in decent shape - we still technically are the more talented team. We just need to get it done. Few expected us to go 3-0 to start the series, but JR Smith's poor play in game 3 and the league's heavy hand for suspending him was uncalled for. No reprimand for terry for hitting JR in the groin? Bah.

I believe they're showing more respect for the Thunder because of the way we lost the last 2 games. And while I disagree with their take, I can't blame them for it. We brought this on ourselves. We can still win this round if we put the last 2 games behind us and play the same way that got us the 2 seed. I'm glad to know that Woodson had no idea about the team wearing black to the game. Was bothering me that he might have condoned it.

Woodson said he did not know about the team's plan before the game. The coach said he learned about it Thursday morning and expressed his disappointment.
He said he "absolutely" would have prohibited the Knicks from wearing black if he had known about the idea.
"I made reference to our guys, you need to stay out of the papers and just concentrate on playing. That's not important. What you're wearing doesn't have anything to do with how you play on the basketball floor," Woodson said.

Woodson insisted on Thursday that his team is still confident heading into Game 6 in Boston.
"We're confident. We're 3-2 in the series and still facing a close-out game. I feel pretty good about it, and our guys feel good," Woodson said. "We just got to go give back what we gave away last night. We got to go back there and try and figure it out tomorrow night."
The Knicks have not won a playoff series since 2000.

Nice the oldest roster in the league has figured out how to act like 3 year olds, but they are yet to figure out how to close out a team without their best player in a playoff clincher at home. Showing some real maturity here.
