Its the same thing that happens here--on nights you feel like saying this team is ridiculous(which it has been for many years) you write something like we may need more speed at that position in the future instead of straight bashing a player/coach/GM/owner. I think Dolan can understand some bashing IT etc... I think they know they deserve some. But youre playing on their turf--youre not a paying customer--your e making a good salary off their behinds. So there has to be a mesh somewhere and Isoal passed it and never made good. Maybe after 17 years he should cover someone else.

I'm a die hard knick fan, but I'm not blind either, I'll criticize any Knick player when they deserve it, especially since none of them are my favorite knick.
Sports IN GENARAL IS becoming just like a REALITY SHOW, only certain parts are real, most of the sht is scripted..think about it, from the refs who can completely control a game, Owners control players, and The NBA OFFICE controls the way it wants the Show to go..
Watch a international Game of basketball(not the olympics) and see how little the players complain about calls..there's a stark difference..
Im also add that, it's funny how some poster feel BREEN is bias, If he was really bias do you think he would be given a contract, do you think this franchise would put up with that..How many people have been escorted out, or flat fired for saying anything too negative about the franchise and it's high profile players,, or players in general..

Its the same reason Dolan apparently bought Newsday, because he couldn't stand the coverage and all the nasty things that were being written about him in the comments section.

Normally, I'd say Isola is full of himself, no one cares and he should stop whining. But when you consider who owns the team and that horrible incident that supposedly happened with the security guard a few weeks back, then Isola's story is well within the realm of possibility.

There is a stench that comes from the core of MSG. Dolan and his minions have this policy to keep it contained and prevent embarrassment. The whole Larry Brown media fiasco was an embarrassment. Im not here to say Larry should not have been fired but the whole roadside press conference was pathetic. The whole posturing over his contract and if you recall the team was setting him up to challenge his contract using his media participation as an issue. It was sad. Larry got paid anyway.

Durzo... why shouldnt they have unlimited access? This is part of the business. If you run a good business your transparent. When your a dodgy snake you dont like people digging and snooping around. The Knicks run their business and their team very poorly. Isola is to blame?
The issue is one of accuracy. The policy of having garden personnel assist players with their interviews is purely to make sure that reporters are kept honest in accurately reporting what the players say. It is similar to a trial situation - you would not go to trial without a lawyer to speak for you, so why should the players be subjected to hostile reporters who distort everything without assistance?
And no one is following anyone around. I think some reporters suffer from delusions of grandeur and paranoid fantasies.

I have no problems with the access. It's a great locker room, and most of the guys are approachable. I have good professional relationships with many of them.
