Same here..., not suite since I lurk at BBI...., but started lurking at the rockets forums and just did not like the posters there. Very realgm like.
I try to contribute here on threads that interest me. If I get attacked personally then I just ignore the poster.

he's an nba champion, an nba finals mvp, and a first ballot hall-of-famer. it's just silly not to give a great player his due, just as it's mean-spirited to single out one game to try and make a point about his footwork. but like i said you be you.
Good post.. I agree.. I just don't get it sometimes.. fans feel to give another player credit is to disown your team... and that is just not the case.. Pierce is fun to watch, especially if you like the small details... the guy is great out there when it comes to the small details of the game..

I've missed you too, and I usually find myself in agreement with your positions. You're one of the more neutral and open minded guys out there.
It would be great if you and the old timers I miss like BBJ, Bip, DJ, Marv, Killa, Evil, PresIke, et al, were still posting. But truth be told for myself, I don't even have strong opinions anymore. Just watching and seeing how it plays out it.
I still root hard for the team and despise every loss, but I don't really feel emotionally involved with the players. I "like" them, but there's no one I love the way I loved Oakman, Starks, Mason, etc, and maybe there never will be. But that's why I do understand discontented guys like tkf, Bocker, etc. When the team trades away the few guys you really identified with for guys you don't, it's tough, and it can be a long road back to emotional involvement.
These new knicks still got to earn our trust, when they do our hearts and minds will follow.

last year when linsanity hit and all these new members joined up (which is a GREAT thing btw) is when i think i finally really lost my interest in voicing my own opinions on here. i was already kinda getting there, but that was definitely it for me. talking with all those people quickly became a waste of time because they only saw lin, no flaws in his game and it was like talking to a wall 99% of the time.
still love talkin hoops the guys you mentioned and maybe if i saw a bunch come back and creating good discussion, i'd probably end up doing the same again myself. we hardly even have get-togethers anymore!
I applaud the intern's ability to turn a guns retirement thread into something about himself.
