Not taking responsibilities away from the players that shot badly, but his game plan was just as erratic insisting on stopping the ball for Melo and J.R. to take bad shot after bad shot.
Felt on kept us in the game in the first half and there was no sign of his PnR at the start and most of the second half. Sorry but that's on the guy calling the shots.
Woody impressed me with his in-game adjustments against the Celtics, yet there was none good in this Game 1.
The Knicks game was way off today and Woody was part of the problem. He did get out coached today by a team that came in extremely better prepared, played their game plan to perfection and dominated on the road. And the Pacers were supposedly a bad road team.
That team was focused. Our was out-everything-ed.

And by "Indiana," we mean "Roy Hibbert." The Indiana center -- and "Parks & Recreation" co-star -- was without question star of the game, an absolute monster defensively who thwarted almost every Knicks drive by going straight up with his 7-foot-2 frame. He also dominated Tyson Chandler in every way, allowing the rest of the Pacers to close out on Knicks' shooters and basically shutting down any driving opportunities on his own. The Pacers were bigger, tougher, stronger and better.

They did look like the worse team. Were completely dominated by the Pacers, who looked every bit of a complete team and championship contender. That's what's so troubling for me from this game. They completely dominated us.

And scarier.
I need a real dominant display from the Knicks in the following games to take the bad taste of this game away. The Pacers practically toyed with us. The Knicks, no matter how close they got, never had a chance today.

I think what is troubling for me is that this team has gotten into a funk before and has taken awhile to get out of it. This reminds me of the Jan/Feb stretch when the team struggled after its great start. It seems like up 3-0 against the Celtics was a long time ago.

Coaching
When the Knicks beat Boston there was no mention of Mike Woodson outcoaching Doc Rivers. Why? Because coaches do not attempt (14-43) shots, grab rebounds (30-44) for the game) or compile assists (15-21).
