I'll say Knicks in 7. If Melo's shoulder is bad and he shoots terribly, we probably won't win though. If it's bad and looks to contribute in other ways, we should be fine.

I was hoping that the series would start on Tuesday to give him a chance to heal. Hopefully he is ok. I think the time off before game 3 should help.

I got Pacers in 6, I don't know if we can hold off the onslaught,
the problem with our team is that it can crumble like some cookies at any time,
pacers are not that good on the road, curiously, for a good defensive squad. if the knicks keep their composure-- a big question mark-- they will take the series in 6. if they lose their composure it's either team in seven with a slight edge for new york playing at home.

Pacers/Hawks is the only series that I didn't watch at least one game of. Some of the Knicks crumbling was because the Celtics have tremendous heart and character. I don't know if the Pacers have that to the extent that the Celtics do. They did play the Knicks tough in the regular season.

as a knicks fan, my brain is permanently scarred by the pacers,

i said it the other thread. Homecourt advantage is huge. We need to win atleast 1 game in Indiana. I have us winning in either 5 or 6
This entire series is gonna be physical as hell. The Knicks really need to be ready for this. Guys are purposely gonna be pushing them around to try and rattle them. With that said, Knicks in 7.

Conventional wisdom says that it would not be an upset, but I feel it in my bones.
They're gonna try to hit us hard and throw us off our game. Indiana is a youthful, energetic team that is on the come up; Boston was a bag of bones and they almost pushed us to 7!

Honestly, Im very afraid of this.
Indiana's offense isn't scary at all but they play defense 100% of the time. They've battled with Miami in the postseason. That all being said, WE have the talent. It's up to us whether we show it or not. If we don't come out looking to brawl I think we get pushed around and we lose this series. But if they come out physical like I expect and our offense doesn't sputter through Melo and JR, we take this in 6 or 7.
