I think there are folks that won't be happy unless Melo is putting up Bron numbers. I am happy with his being the best Carmelo Anthony he can be. I don't need him to be Bron. 50% shooting, 32 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers is more than good enough for me. I'd take that every night from him gladly.
His stat line is great tonight. No one can take that away from him.

HUGE difference. Melo needs to make a quick move or pass the ball out for better position. When Melo holds the ball and dribbles for a shot it kills our offense. Granted we're going to need him to do this from time to time but not in the middle of the 1st quarter.

Yeah and his shoulder is really messed up. He shoed a ton of heart and character. Also, I don't think Tyson's neck is better.
What created a sloppy game from the Pacers was the Knicks defense was more up into them. As the game went into the 2nd half the Knicks turned it up even more and that's what this team does when they're playing well. The only thing we've been missing is our perimeter shooting. God help these teams if we get hot again. That's the only part of the game we've really not seen yet except for today we saw a glimpse of what it can be like. Now imagine if JR and Kidd get it going???

I am thrilled for him. He has the eye of the tiger defensively (he's back to being a game changer on D) and he's finally skying to the rim with abandon. That putback dunk was just ridiculous. If he continues to work on his jumper and shot selection, he will be a very good player in this league for a long time.

JR getting is going is only a matter of time. Kidd...well Im not so confident about that.

Mostof the turnovers were forced due to trapping out off of the PNR, and high ball pressure making the interior passes much longer than they were in game 1. Also, Reggie remarked about our lack of intensity it was during the early parts of the 3rd Q when we let the Pacers climb into the lead. We did let up a bit, but we turned it back on mid-3rd Q and took off from there.
Shump is playing with a lot of confidence right now,and Im happy to see he's not thinking about the knee at all. If we can get JR back on track along with Shump, we will be alright...

This is exactly how I want the Knicks to play every game. I have nothing bad to say about anything today. Woody played prigi and Shump more late in the game, no to many ISO's and we played hard on D.

This was a great win and as I said before if Melo has it going on we win the series. So proud of the team with this win.
Can't watch the game until Friday, but looking at the score it shall be an enjoyable experience when I do! Great to get a win! Pacers are a much better team at home, but if we can steal one of the next two games we should be back on track!
Was watching some of the Pacers/Hawks. Pacer's D faded pretty badly in the 4th quarter at times. Kyle Korver was taking it to the hole pretty regularly.
This could get interesting. Knicks in 5?
