The most logical destination for a Tyson trade would be to a good team looking to upgrade center to put them over the top. Also, any Tyson trade needs to have a center coming back to us. Around the trade deadline I thought LAC, GS, and OKC were the best fits in terms of fit and need but I don't think that's the case anymore; GS is not trading Bogut after the postseason he just had and I want nothing to do with Perkins so both those teams are out. Looking around the league today I think the most likely trade partners are LAC, for DeAndre and Bledsoe, or Denver for a package involving Javale McGee.
My big hope this offseason is that we can upgrade our shaky, inconsistent backcourt. We should be willing to take a slight downgrade at center for an upgrade at guard. And I believe Tyson still has plenty of value around the league; he was voted into the AllStar game by the coaches and then All-Defensive 1st team by those same coaches.

I think the Clippers are the best chance. Chris Paul loved playing with Chandler and if it keeps him in LA for sure then its worth it to them. I would try to send Chandler and Kidd for Deandre Jordan and Bledsoe. Jordans contract is the same as Chandlers, they probably wouldnt be able to resign Bledsoe,They get the best player in the deal
Do you honestly think DeAndre Jordan is a better player than Tyson? DeAndre Jordan is immature and worse at everything bar shot blocking. He shoots 38% from the FT line. He averages 7.2 rebounds and 8.8 points. He is like Tyson suffering from perpetual flu but with a worse attitude.

The only thing that leads me to pause is we have to resign Bledsoe and then that cuts into are chances adding another star in FA when Amare Chandler or Jordan in this scenario comes off.

We can sweeten more that is just the main pieces. Add cash or a draft pick or Felton while bringing back Hill to match salaries.

Yeah that 1 crossed my mind 2 actually but Perkins is so awful.Also they might not want to trade Lamb as they see him as Kevin Martin replacement

Portland has the cap room to absorb these contracts and the talent to even beat out OKC in such a deal, and they have a bunch of picks we can use to restock/develop till 2015 class to get our "big name" players so it is a short 2 year rebuild plan that could theoritically work

Yes, absolutely. Do you really think the year would have gone better if we had replaced Tyson with a few 2nd round picks? My guess is two things would have happened: a) we'd have a much lower 1st round playoff seed (maybe even facing Indiana in the 1st round instead of the 2nd), and b) we would have either done the same or worse in the playoffs.
