Congrats. It was reported that he was in the top 5 as far as votes, but obviously because of position, he will most likely continuing being on the 2nd team.
The bleacher report app on my phones notification was "Carmelo Anthony makes All NBA 2nd Team despite leading the NBA in scoring" or something like that. I guess they thought he shouldve been on the 1st team.

397 points to Duncan's 392 but Duncan received 45 1st team vote compared to Melo's 24. Couple other interesting notes:
Blake Griffin only received 132 points and no votes for 1st team. Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, and James Harden all have more points and received votes for 1st team.
There were also players who received 1st place votes but didn't make any of the teams: Brook Lopez - 7; Bosh - 4; Noah - 3; Horford - 2; Al Jefferson - 1; and Tyson - 1.
Brook Lopez also 132 total points, more than Paul George and David Lee on the 3rd team and the same as Blake Griffin on the 2nd team.
3 Knicks received votes: Melo - 397 points; Tyson - 19 points; and Felton - 3 points.
Best as I can tell no team had more than 3 players receive votes: Knicks - Melo, Tyson, Felton; Miami - Lebron, Wade, Bosh; Lakers - Kobe, Dwight, Gasol; Memphis - Gasol, Randolph, Conley; OKC - Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka; Indiana - George, Hibbert, West; Chicago - Noah, Deng, Boozer; Boston - Pierce, Garnett, Rondo; and Denver - Lawson, Faried, Iguodala.

I totally agree about Noah, he should've made one of these teams. I think the voters basically agree with you about Blake, he received only the 13th most points, but it was a really bad year for forwards and he made 2nd team pretty much by default.
