Are these concepts too hard to understand? Doc had the inferior team but coached them up and almost took us out!!! Evaluating the performance of a coach isn't only about W/L. You have to weigh the strength of the opponent too. MJax lost to spurs but it was evident he did a GREAT job. Thibs lost but he got every ounce of effort out of his team and had great tactics. If the Knicks lost but had played great ball, smart lineups and rotations etc then no one would be bashing Woody! His poor decisions hurt the teams chances. No guarantee his team wins but u don't want the coach to cost u games over the course of a post season. Woody was out coached, Period!

3. Tyson Chandler was absolutely dominated by Hibbert. 2 points and 6 rebounds ain't gonna cut it.
4. George is going step for step with Lebron. The dap was a sign of ultimate respect. He would have abused Copeland with his feline quickness. Cope would have had to match him hoop for hoop, and play Gary Payton-like defense, which he does not. Somebody call an ambulance.
5. 6'5 Lance Stephenson is too crazy (and too big and fast) for Prigioni, Kidd or Felton to stay with. Crazy I tell you. He played the Knicks with the revenge mindset-fire of Ron Artest returning to The Garden. No one saw that coming. No one.

But because of the knicks not just allowing the open man to shoot whomever it is , he doesn't feel comfortable as a part of the team on offense in the area of shooting the ball.
All you people praising this Vogel guy and the Pacers don't realize when you go at them at home, they get nervous and play scared in front of their home town fans. NY was taking it to the Pacers in the 4th and Woody took his foot off the gas. Spoelstra won't do that.
Teams play more timid at home when the opposing team comes to play 48 minutes... see Miami.

I meant he was having a tough time holding onto passes and rebounds, things he normally is able to do. Changing the offense to try to make him a jump shooter in the second round of the playoffs when he couldn't function in his normal role doesn't seem like the best move in my opinion. As Stephen A. said about Tyson when he was talking about his teammates to the media, 'Sometimes it is about you'.
I would think handling a pass in traffic and handling a pass at the foul line are two different scenarios. One has a lot of bodies around and the other leaves you alone and free to shoot, Hibbert wasn't gonna comer out and rush at him at the foul line.

This is just silly. When have you ever seen Tyson taking any significant number of jump shots in his entire career? It's never been part of his game.

You are correct he does look that way, because he's not a playmaker, at best all he can do is knock down a foul line jumper.
