But lets not forget this is the best physical specimen in the draft tailor- made for the nBA game--only lacking depth on his jumpshot. 6-9 210 with a 7-3 wingspan and a 41 inch vertical lift. Battle tested in the ACC avg 15-8. If he came out as a HS senior--he wouldve been a top 5 pick.

He's a great athlete but what makes him any different from a guy like hakim Warrick? Not sure if he can play SF.

i don't think he makes it out of round 1. At the minimum he'll go 30.

He is a good project to have and maybe we can groom him?
Hey, what about thinking in two years he is ready to be a solid NBA player and we let Mooby walk or trade him? You know, kid of what many teams have done. Im not saying "rebuild" or Melo hate but "Prepare" for injury, free agency, and decline.
I have watched a bit of his game and I do think his game is better suited for the pro's but his shot is not great and he needs to play within a system. I have no problem with this kid but don't think he can contribute right away.

I have no advocation one way or the other on Leslie. I do think he will be able to help teams right away off the bench especially in transition and on defense. Hes an agile 6-9 with a 7-3 wingspan. You could throw him on a PG in the halfcourt if there is an imaginative coach out there and hes going to shoot a high%--as he will get buckets and create excitement and energy if he plays with an up tempo team like Pheonix. His physical features are round 1.

He is a taller version of Gerald Wilkens. Garald Wallace, Balkman, that type. Great athlete with good upside.
Far more polished game than JJ.

You're right. The guy has too much Anthony Randolph, Stromile Swift, Tyrsu Thomas in him for me to take as a first rounder. Physically, he's a first round talent. But mentally, he probably isn't ready for the big time.

C J is going round 1 Id bet my bottom dollar on it and he will be surprisingly good in the NBA especially if he can develop that jump shot. This is not Tyrus Thomas etc.. this kid plays hard.
