Knicks · 2013 NBA Draft Thread.......... (page 1)

Thought I'd just start one to discuss all things about the draft.

Is everyone watching it?

I usually DVR it and burn thru the commericals and sometimes fast foward while a team is on the clock.

After about 10 years I think Im going to pass entirely as I am usually disappointed a the lack of drama. The Players all say the same thing and the trades usually don't amount to much.

After all, I can read about it later in the night!

Wife just called and asked me if I had anything planned. After all the playoff games she watched with me (she sort of got into it) and being out 3 nites straight this week with Tennis matches she wants to go to a charity art auction and while I said the NBA draft was on, she replied "don't you usually record it anyway?". We going with some friends so it will be a fun nite and yeah I might check my cell phone from time to time!

Draft is weak and while we hear that a lot usually there is some kind of hype leading up to it. Very little this week. Not sure what the knicks have in store but maybe we just take the best athlete available as we can really use a bit of everything.

I usually make it a point to catch the draft, but will probably pass this year. Saving some money by axing cable, and not sure I care enough to find a good stream like I will for the games.
I'll be checking online periodically for updates, see who NY picks, but the scouting reports and highlights you can find online are a better tell than anything they show on ESPN in a 15 second clip anyways.

I usually watch the draft but I'll be working tonight so I'll try to follow online instead. As a bonus though, that means I won't have to listen to Dick Vitale at all this year.

If he's still available and the Knicks don't take Reggie Bullock from UNC I will be shocked.

Losing J R Smith and Copeland, this guy can fill it up and can play a little defense.

The cavs are trying to trade the number 1 pick whichs shows me that this draft is pretty weak

I like this pick he seems to be a skilled player. I just wish he was 6'10" instead of 6'8".
