Yes, he did! But he was amnestied by Charlotte.. so we could sign him for the veterans minimum. The Bobcats would have to pay his remaining 16 mil on his existing deal

He can learn anything Tyson can teach him. Tyson is a Defensive Player of the Year and you don't think Ty Thomas can learn something from him? Washed up players passed their prime have their place. As backups, like Kidd was supposed to be. This team can use a starting small forward to push Shumpert back to his SG spot. A guy who knows how to win (like Matt Barnes) is a perfect fit at SF for this team. Elton Brand is an IDEAL backup PF who can protect the rim and bang down low.

What happened to Tyrus Thomas? did he lose his game or did he never play well in the nba? I remember people thought he'd be great when he was drafted- it seems like he got worse every single year. I think we had some interest in trading for him a few years ago but he ended up going to the bobcats.
Brand is most likely off our radar because we have no more money

Tyrus Thomas is brutal. Dude only got his contract off being a high pick because of a few games in the NCAA tournament. No chance in hell I'd take him over Brand.

Tyrus Thomas is a cry baby....he wanted minutes and he wanted shots but he didn't want to fight guys fro playing time.
So maybe he comes to a team like the Knicks with vets in place and maybe find his game again.....the dude is still young and has the ability to play at least to the level that earned him a second contract
