it's not really wild,
he's a really solid point guard, a franchise point guard,
at only 32 years old now, and with point guards playing into their late 30s, he has a lot of game left and will lead the mavs to a lot of wins.

EDIT: Appears I was mistaken and GS knew D-12 was no longer a possibility and targeted Iggy all along, clearing all the cap room to make him an offer. My bad.

1 steal per game and only 1.7 turnovers per game,
will do good things with mavs, cuban will build that team with talent
